The online racing scene is one that I would like to have fixed and to do that I need your help, here’s a list of all the problems in ranked adventure.
Problems:
1.Wall riding
2.Lack of disqualification
3.Unfair freeroam rush
4.No banned exploiters (for wall riding and pushing people off the track)
5.Players with bad connection should be ghosted frequently
6.Non existing in game report system
I hope these issues get resolved. Feel free to add to this list if you desire.
Remove PvP from the game. Problem solved.
PvP can’t be removed because of ranked adventure and all rewards. The fix is extremely easy = make the PvP races non-contact, except for the Playground Games of course but that can be removed…same as Freeroam Rush.
As someone who doesn’t really do PvP, but am doing it this month to bump my Summer season completion above 80% I have to agree that ramming, especially to make people miss checkpoints, is a massive issue.
Quite often I’ll make a place or two, brake into a corner only to be used as a buffer, get knocked way off the track and then see somebody flash a “too slow” message just to really round off the insulting behaviour.
When I get a group of players that don’t act like this I have to admit I’ve actually had fun, which is nothing short of amazing coming from a traditionally solo only player. I think I’d have a lot more fun if everyone were ghosted so it came down to purely the driving skill, and not who can play dirtiest.
