When you go to buy a car in the game, lets say a corvette, when you go to purchase it you have options like:
coupe, or convertible
grand sport, Z06, ZR1
Or a chevy cruze : coupe, sedan, hatchback
base, RS.
This way you can make many versions of the vehicle available without having to list each version seperately
I agree, this allows us to have more purchasing options.
Not only sports lines like the RS, but common factory lines, but eventually you will be able to upgrade the engine.
An option to create a vechile into its submodel or lesser counterpart. Examples being the 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra should have an option to be a GT, LX(coupe or hatchback), or a convertible. You could also have car models be like the RS3 and other audo models be the lower car models as well. An rs3 could be an s3 or a3. You already have the car sounds because the gti and golf r have existed before. Change the car model slightly(bumpers and side skirts) and change the car audio from pther VAG group sounds because they are the same sound and platform. This would greatly deepen the community and allow people to create any car they could desire. More artistic and performwnce opportunities.
Sounds easy but would entail rescanning new interiors, new engine bays, and adding all the different interior/exterior colors that each trim has too. It wouldn’t really be much easier at all than just adding a whole different car unfortunately.
