I’m still a bit confused by which races count for what.
CC/Dirt/Drag/Road/Street count for those races if started from free-roam or if it’s Event Lab. They DON’T count for the relevant races if they’re in the Trial or a seasonal championship. Is that as expected?
Campaign races count for just about everything.
After some testing, it seems that the consumable perks for Road, Dirt, etc do not count for Trial or Open races. They work in championships, Tour and EventLab. Campaign works more or less all races.
I just don’t understand this. Is there an official version of how they work? @ManteoMax
For example, I just did a Horizon Tour in the Cooper FE. This has perks for Campaign and Dirt. The Tour was three dirt races but only the Campaign consumable got used. I do know if I drive up to a Dirt race in free roam that both get used.
Horizon 4 is, I think, the same.
Clearly it’s not a big deal but it really doesn’t appear to work in the way it should.
done more testing, they do not work for Trial or Open races
Just a nod of appreciation for the question and testing. Thanks ! It would be nice to know.

Thanks! I managed to get mixed up, though, it’s Trial and Open where they don’t work.

New additions to this issue. Up to now, in Open and Trial (maybe Tour) only the Campaign consumable perk works. The Hazard and Speed perks for the Hot Wheels DLC do not work at all.
