It’s ok for me but not for my friends 
Been down all morning for me aswell but see other friends online.
sigh Seems like we won’t be playing for awhile. I just got the game yesterday and I was hoping to actually try out multiplayer with my friend. But no. Hopefully Playground Games, Turn 10, and Forza can fix this mess.
Would love to see a response from turn 10 on what is going on and how long this server problem is gonna last
Hey guys I’m having an issue connecting my Horizon 2 to the Horizon server. no matter what I’ve tried I"m unable to go online. at first i thought the problem was with the xbox however Forza motorsport5 as well as Gta 5 work online
Same issue here too. All online service tabs are greyed out and just keep getting the message of servers are unavailable. Would be really good to hear anything official about this, even a post on Twitter would be better than nothing.
It´s working for me now. I had the same issues since the the first post were posted here. I reconnected the power plug of my xbox an it worked. Now i can use all things wihtout any problems (at the moment).

Permanently stuck on the loading screen.
same for me, I cannot play online roadtrips. I keep being disconnected
SOLUTION:
Had the same problem, would get stuck on a loading screen, then would shut of xbox to restart game. Came back to see that online functions were disabled. But, here is the solution. Go to settings, disc and blueray, and clear persistent storage. After this go to wireless settings and clear your alternate mac address. You will be prompted to restart your xbox, after which, online should be working. Hope this helps.
