Cockpit Camera is too zoomed in and undrivable

While there are many cars in the game that really need serious improvements to the exterior modeling, interior modeling & texture and cockpit view.

My rule of thumb for a perfect cockpit view when compared to driving other cars in game :

a. Be able to see at least 25z of the left side mirror (for left hand drive cars) or 25% of the right side mirror without moving your camera.

b. You should be able to see most of the steering - top and sides (70% of the wheel) and the manufacturer logo completely.

With that being said, these are the cars that come to the top of my mind when playing FH5 everyday since I love these cars but cannot drive them due to how zoomed in and strange the cockpit camera views are.

  1. Bugatti Chiron

Although not perfect due to the aforementioned description (rule of thumb) of a good cockpit view, for comparison:

Bugatti Divo & Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

  1. Ferrari 812 Superfast

We do not have the F12 Berlinetta in game for some reason, so here’s the F12 TDF for comparison:

  1. Dodge Challenger Hellcat

Compared to Dodge Demon

  1. 2005 Honda NSX-R

Compared to 1992 NSX-R and 2005 NSX-R GT

  1. Lamborghini Veneno, Aventador SV and the Aventador

Compared to the SVJ and Centenario, these two cars have really nailed the cockpit view perfectly in my humble opinion. Apology as my cars have windows tinted, but you really get the idea !

  1. Lamborghini Huracan and Huracan Performante and STO

When compared to the EVO and Technica which have nailed the cockpit view when factoring in the field of view and the camera height, you can notice how zoomed in and enormously huge the steering wheels look in the Huracan and Huracan Perfomante.

7, Lamborghini Huracan STO

In the case of STO, the camera is not only super close but also sitting high, chopping the steering view and creating and unnatural view. The STO is close to the ground like any super car and not a high-riding SUV.

Comparing to the perfectly seated field of views in cockpit cameras of Huracan EVO and Tecnica again:

  1. 2020 Audi RS 3

Now this is leaning towards the other side of the spectrum where the camera is not only a little too far back but off-centered as well, creating this strange view which can you throw you off when driving. Not to mention, the wonky mess of a texture for the front window sill and A-pillar only make it worse.

  1. Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio
