PLEASE change the clutch, do it like it was on Forza Horizon 3!
The problem is, when the car stands still, it’s almost impossible to get the car moving without wheelspin.
On FH3 a slight gas press and the game just had an automated clutch for launching the car. This is all I want! For me this is a huge dealbreaker cause, I feel all the time that using the clutch gives me a huge disadvantage, specially when starting a race. There’s not even enough time for me to rev the engine, then the game does not help me get the car moving and the engine dies on me cause I can’t use the clutch properly (Controller).
Yeah I use Manual/Clutch too and it’s really annoying getting off to a slow start when the game won’t give you even a second to rev the engine. It was passable in FH3 cause you could just about get revs but in this new one you’re chucked in almost at idle revs.
Okay it looks like they fixed the clutch by now, it’s the same way as it was on FH3. I’ve played the Demo again and my problems were gone.
Good job on that! Very nice to see a developer fixing issues as fast like that.
It’s quite clear that the developers couldn’t care less about those who use manual transmission in the Horizon series, given they took away the Shift Down button for all 16 presets.
No they didn’t. I played the demo with a controller, manual with clutch, and preset 1 and there was a down shift button mapped to the X as is standard across past titles…

You also swap the handbrake with the clutch as always in advanced. It is exactly the same.
