I have Logitech g923 for Xbox and even if I drive manual with clutch, my clutch doesn’t work . I tried everything to try fix it ( re install the game , turn on off the wheel ……) but nothing worked.
Does someone have the same issue ? Is an issue with the game ?
Same with you and it’s a history issue. Before hide and seek mode updated, You can change to default setting and Use a button as clutch, Back to game try if it works,If ok, go back to setting and change the a button to your pedal. Every time you enter the game, you need to do the same thing. But now, This does not work either. For you can no longer save the custom binding After hide and seek released. Waiting for support to reply.

I have tried it but continue to say missing necessary associations and don’t save it how can I do ?
Yes, it is a new bug after “Hide and seek” update. It’s officially confirmed, but no fix till now. Very annoying. I’m stucked too. Have to wait for update, no other options.

I got the game a 3 weeks ago and have played from day one manual with clutch like I do every forza game and everything’s been fine up until I tried to map in some buttons to look left and right a couple days ago. No matter what button I tried, it wouldn’t look left or right……Ever since then I’ve suffered with the loss of clutch and have to keep changing the layout and then go back to custom layout (which I’ve changed back to how it originally was) but problem still there.
I’ll be contacting Microsoft for a refund, this issue has been on going, their fix clearly hasn’t fixed anything.

April 27th, still not a word from then and no fix whatsoever, almost threw out my g923 thinking it broke until I realized it was noticing clutch as an input, get your stuff together.. this is gonna be PlayStations players first (already skeptic) thoughts of your game

Please provide more detail to help the team diagnose the issue:
- Which platform are you playing on?
- Which peripheral model number are you using?
- Which driver versions are you using? Have you tried updating the driver since this post?
- Are you seeing any error messages?
- What are you expecting to happen that isn’t happening without any error messages?
- Which in-game settings are you using

Came back to Horizon after a couple of months and am having the same issue with a G920 on Xbox Series S. In fact, I remember having it already by the time the “key bindings missing” bug which let me to stop playing (though that one was fixed).
In fact, this bug is online in this forum and Reddit as much as 4y ago.
Clutch is mapped and working as intended but whenever I rewind, it unmaps and I have to go back to input mapping, select a default mapping (with clutch bind to A button), go back to the game, after a few seconds clutch now works, go to input mapping again, select my custom mapping (with clutch registered as Right Stick Up).
While rewinding is perfect for replicating the bug as it happens every single time, the clutch is also gone upon race restarts too.

- The clutch pedal isn’t working UNLESS doing following steps first: Change mapping to default(ie 1, clutch is on btn A on wheel). Save setting back to game and step on gas pedal while pressing btn A to test. Working. Go to setting again. Change to custom mapping, Change the clutch to btn A save and go back to game to test. Working. Go back to setting again. Change the clutch to pedal. Go back to game and now it’s Finally working. You have to do this every time you enter the game.
If you don’t do these steps, Step on gas and clutch together, the vehicle will accelerate.
So I can’t say it’s totally not working, but with very annoying conditions.
