Clear way to see gaps to cars in front / behind

While in races, I generally have no idea whether I’m closing / falling back relative to the cars around me, unless it’s massive changes.
REALLY needs a leader board feature, in cockpit.

There is an option under blind assists to show differential be it distance or time

They have a time distance to the cars ahead and behind. I prefer the distance like in previous games

I found the option - sorry; had looked for it but it wasn’t immediately obvious.
Strangely, by default, it’s only enabled for multiplayer.
