Hello, my name is luis.
I am contacting you because an xbox support representative told me to do it!
My gamertag is luilui0189
I downloaded forza horizon on my friend’s console and then when i downloaded the game in mine, i got “clean disc” error every time i start to play the game. The representative told me that forza horizon when it is downloaded from the games on demand in dashboard has that problem with the license in gamertag and the license original license of the game is in my friend’s console, so the guy told me to contact you and ask you to manually transport the license of the game i bought from my friend’s console to mine. Please.
I’ll be waiting for an answer!
hey i got sort of the same thing
i downloaded forza horizon on my old xbox
now i downloaded it on my new xbox and it shows the whole intro movie
after that it says disc unreadable but it is downloaded -_-

Also I would make sure you’ve recovered your gamertag from Xbox Live as described here: Xbox Support
If you have download content purchased on that account, you will also need to set up a re-download of the DLC via LICENSE TRANSFER as described here: Xbox Support
Snowowl, I’m having the same issue with my downloaded copy of Forza Horizon. I have two XBOX 360 consoles, an older white first generation and a newer XBOX 360E. I initially purchased my Horizon downloadable content version on the older white version about a month ago without playing it and then “re-download”(ed) the content to my 360E later that weekend.
When starting Horizon on my XBOX 360E, it plays the initial start-up content and allows me to select any of the three player options, (Single, Multiplayer, etc.) progresses through the welcome video and controller instructions before giving me the Disc Unplayable error as described above.
I have have deleted Horizon, re-downloaded it a number of times and have even copied the download to an external drive receiving the same error when trying to play it.
This past weekend, I made it down where my original XBOX 360 is located and started up Horizon for the first time on the older console and it seemed to have no issue and gave me no errors.
The only thing I have not done is transfer licensing to my XBOX 360E mainly due to ignorance on my part:
1.) Will I have to re-download ALL of my games on my XBOX 360E console once I perform a license transfer using my XBOX 360E?
2.) Will I lose the ability to play my downloaded games (like Horizon) on my original XBOX 360 console once I have transferred my content license?
FYI: I have had no issues with any of the other games I have purchased and downloaded to both XBOX 360 consoles over the last few years.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found success on the 360E console by transferring the licensing, deleting Horizon from the 360E and then redownloading the content to the 360E. Horizon now works in all player selected modes on the 360E console.
