Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49 1972 - inaccurate car model

Hello design team,

My father told me about this today. The 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49 is not modeled correctly. Says 6 pack hemi on the quarter panel.

But under the hood it shows an inline 6 cylinder. Do us a favor and put the 426 hemi in it :v::pray:

The E49 “6 Pack Hemi” was a 6 cyl engine. Australia never got the actual 426 Hemi to put in to a production car. See pic below for an actual E49 engine bay.

Well they can close this post then. They lost me on this car I don’t see a hemi. This is all kinds of wrong from the company. Atleast it was accurate for what it’s worth. Won’t catch me driving it.

Not trying to poke at you here, but do you know what makes a cylinder head a “hemi” head is the combustion chamber?

You can have a hemispherical combustion chamber without having the spark plug in the center of the chamber (like a gen 2 426 Hemi). Though, having it there is “optimal” for space constraints and optimal power production within the engine.

Below is the bottom side of a cylinder head from a Jag E Type. While not called a “hemi”, it does in fact have hemispherical combustion chambers.

I know the difference.
Hemispherical combustion. Some of the best technology ever created.
