Chevy Monte Carlo SS for A class

Hello fellow tuners,

Can you give me some advice for the Monte Carlo you from the LaRacer story?
I want to keep the standard engine and rwd.
Thanks in advance.

Sure, what kind of races are you tuning for?

Mostly road racing with a focus of handling over speed.

Well, start by putting twin turbo’s on it and install all the engine upgrades except the intercooler and oil/cooling. Put a sport flywheel on. Put 235mm rally tires on the front and 245mm in the rear. Expand the track width. Upgrade the transmission to race with a sport clutch and race driveline with a race diff. Sport brakes, race suspension and anti-roll bars with race weight reduction.

The car should finish up at A800 with 437hp and a weight of 2732 lbs. You can tune it to your own liking, but I did upload a tune for you to try that I can post the settings for, if you like it. I’m able to run 1:03:9 @ Astmoor in it.

I really hadn’t found a niche for it, but trying for A800 doesn’t sound like a bad idea. I was trying B just because of the starting weight.

I wish they would add a third generation though…
