The 1968 is severely under-represented in video games. The only one I can think of in the last 15 years (not counting mobile games of course) is Driver San Francisco.
We have the 1969 SS 396 Camaro in the game, but it would be great to see the 1969 RS Z/28 return from previous titles. The Z/28 package is far more competitively in line with the Mustang’s Boss 302 package from that same year, which has been present in every Forza game in recent memory.
1968 Camaro SS 396
Since its cousin, the Pontiac Firebird from the same model year, is in Forza, why can’t this other classic Camaro take part in Forza games?
Like it says, it has a 396 cui V8 and is equipped with a 4-speed manual.
It’s powered by a 427 cubic inch V8 engine based on a Corvette L88 iron block and iron head that makes 425 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, though Dyno tests claim it can make almost 550 hp
Power’s sent to the rear wheels through a choice of different 4-speed transmissions: an M40 Turbo Hydra Matic, M20 wide ratio, M21 close ratio or M22 close ratio
According to MotorTrend, it can go from 0-60 in 3.9 seconds and in a quarter mile in 12 seconds with an automatic transmission, and according to supercars.net, it has a top speed of 125 mph
Engine swap option suggestions:
6.2L V8 (LS3)
6.7L V8T Diesel (F-450)
7.0L V8 (Camaro Z/28 ‘15)
Racing 7.2L V8 (RJA Pro Truck)
7.4L V8TT (Funco F9)
8.9L V8 DSC
8.4L V10 (SRT Viper GTS)
6.5L V12 (Aventador LP700-4)
7.7L V12 (Cerbera)
Would be cool to see this limited edition car in the game💯
