cheating in infected matches.

I was recently online when playing infected, there were three players, always stationary, always in a wide open area, always overlapping each other (one car inside another cars hit box), and they quite literally couldn’t be touched. Just sitting there the whole match, watching others fly through them, i wonder if one of them glitched out of the session. But then as the clock runs down they all scatter, so they were in the session. My only guess is that someone is running a hack to disable their hit box, and the effect is contagious as long as you are touching him. Any one else know what’s going on?

It’s not a cheat or hack, it’s a exploit. Last time I saw this was back on FH2 and managed to record a clip of it, I thought this would’ve been addressed by now but apparently it wasn’t large enough to get the devs attention. Basically what they’re doing is abusing the ghosting perk in a worst way possible, and is extremely frowned upon on. Best thing you can do is report them

Hahahaha thats great, gonna try this

Definitely report them, a nice little ban might be exactly what they need, what a bunch of sad losers

I love how they are on the same team. I think a little bit of pre planning went into that. That is garbage, I am sick of people doing crap like that. I tend not to do playground games unless I have to for Forzathon, but I hate the people during flag rush that sit in the collection zone and jump out and hit you right before to get there. Thats cheap crap in my opinion.

I think that’s fair game. It motivates me to find approaches to the drop points where I just jump into the zones to deliver my flag. Every player that just camps the drop point is one less opponent that I have to fight for flags.

This is what happens when a game in on PC instead of Xbox only Way harder to cheat using a console

Of course, the ghost thing… well this post is as close as I can get to reporting them. Honestly don’t know how.

It not a hack, everyone has no hit boxes at the start of the match that last 10 seconds so they can’t be tagged if they spawn on the infected person or close to him. This gives them some times to run away. Now this is a little glitches, as if you are inside of another car that is still, the ghost affect won’t go away. This isn’t very often in forza 3, as people are new and don’t know all the tricks. I have never used this method. Other items like crates won’t do this glitch, just teleport outside their hit box.

I thinking banning them would be a little far, maybe a suspension for a week for being exploiters. But you cannot blame them, as turn 10 has never fixed this bug.

This kind of nonsense is why I don’t play online. That and the AWD twin-turbo V12 everythings.

Thing I hate is when there is only one goal area and 11 players in flag rush matches. It guarantees there will be at least 5 vultures just sitting in the score area hoping to get lucky. The only way past them, as mentioned earlier, is to literally go over their heads.
Does the size of the group not matter? I mean just one static goal for 11 players is just illogical.

You can cheese infected alone too. Airport and Isetta are the keywords. I hate that.
