So I had a day off today and thought that I will clean up my discs and later play FH4.
I have 3 discs in my PC: 1st for Windows, 2nd and 3rd for storage/ganes/etc. 2nd and 3rd was also divided to 2 partitions. So it was “5 discs” - form C to G. FH4 was installed on disc E.
After moving all of the important things from D and F they was formatted. Later free space was added to remaining discs (D to E and F to G). So FH4 folder was not moved at all.
I don’t think I have changed any of disc settings.
Apparently FH4 didn’t liked that. When I tried to open it I was welcomed with error. Can’t remember what was it exactly, but there was something about “wrong path”. Anyway I was forced to reinstall everything (game/DLC/car pack/etc.).
After that it had to resync my save. Not suprised, but I was not happy, cause I was doing it yesterday.
Now game works. Well, it was loading up for 15mins, so 10 mins longer, but it works.
TLDR: Changed partition size. FH4 didn’t liked that. Had to reinstall everything.
Questions: Why FH4 didn’t liked change of disk space? Anyone had similiar issue?
Or maybe it was just bad luck and I lost 7hours. because why not
