I just noticed that the LaFerrari has a speed stat of 9.6 and the P1 9.4. This is completely incorrect and unrealistic. In fact, last time I checked, the LaFerrari didn’t even have better overall stats than the P1 or 918 Spyder. I am calling for a mandatory PI reduction for the LaFerrari so that it ranks just barely below the 2016 Ford #66 Ford Racing GT Le Mans. It’s 100% unrealistic to see the LaFerrari win agaist the P1 in any drag race, whether 1/4 mile or 1 mile. In reality, the P1 always wins against the LaFerrari, which always loses to the 918 Spyder.
New PI for the LaFerrari:
Speed: 8.7
Handling: 8.2
Acceleration: 9.3
Launch: 9.1
Braking: 10.0
Weight: 3,520 lb
New PI for the FXX K:
Speed: 8.0
Handling: 9.2
Acceleration: 9.4
Launch: 9.3
Braking: 10.0
Weight: 3,320 lb
Forza Horizon 3 needs to be more realistic in terms of actual performance this time around! Can the LaFerrari please be nerfed? Thanks!
The Prancing Horse no longer has to rule the track this time around.
When I went to my local car dealership today the salesman quoted me a speed stat of 9.6 for the P1 and a speed stat of 10.0 for the Ferrari TheFerrari. I punched that liar straight in the face I did! Put his rear end right down on that linoleum floor, oh yeah, you betcha!
I tend to dislike when gamers use terminology like this with real life items. Nobody says “Buff” or “nerf” in real life in reference to cars, and heck it doesnt make sense to say in most games… That kind of talk should be left for your MMO’s that have classes not a car game… Its weird and rubs people the wrong way because you are taking principles that apply to another genre and trying to use it here… So no I’d rather not see an artificial “buff” or “nerf” but rather a more organic approach like upgrading parts.
What you people clearly do not even get is the fact that you haven’t watched videos by TheSUPERCARDRIVER and Chris Harris on Cars. As it is said, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH! Do some more in-depth research!
The only Ferrari model that has been claimed to do 250+ mph is the Ferrari FXX Evoluzione. The LaFerrari is not even allowed to go that fast; it should be restricted to 233.
How many more times will I have to say this? The LaFerrari does NOT even weigh 3,031 lbs (1,375 kg), but instead 3,495 lbs (1,585 kg)**. Don’t believe me? Look up its Wikipedia page. It clearly says 3,495 lbs (1,585 kg) at the top and links to a source. In Forza, it should be upped to 3,495 lbs (1,585 kg). If the LaFerrari really weighs 3,495 lbs (1,585 kg), then the FXX K really weighs 3,295 lbs (1,495 kg), which will become 3,295 lbs (1,495 kg) in-game.
So I, again, state that the LaFerrari should be nerfed to the following PI:*
Speed 8.8↓*
Handling 8.5↓*
Acceleration 9.1↓*
Launch 8.8↓*
Braking 10.0=*
Weight 3,495 lbs (1,585 kg)*
The FXX K’s new PI:*
Speed 8.4↑*
Handling 9.2↓*
Acceleration 9.4↓*
Launch 9.1↓*
Braking 10.0=*
Weight 3,295 lbs (1,495 kg)*
THIS IS MY MESSAGE TO TURN 10 AND PLAYGROUND GAMES: The new PIs I suggested SHOULD be included as part of a bug fixes update that also addresses the issues surrounding Groove Music. The LaFerrari’s and FXX K’s unrealistic PIs are and should be just as annoying as the Groove Music bugs. Please. And thank you.*
I dunno, maybe if you send Mr. Ferrari and Mr. McLaren a nice little letter, explaining that you’re deeply depressed and troubled by some statistics in a video game, then they might lend out some 1:18 scale cars for you to enjoy, so you can gather some of your own research intelligence that way.
Don’t forget your $10 League of Legends card on the way out of the toy store!
Mine does 0 to 60 in 1.5 and 0 to 100 in 2.7 an on the speed camera at the airport it hits 262mph. It’s good right? well my Huracan and Audi R8 hit 265mph and they’re just tuned with a bit of effort.
My One:1 was hitting 254mph until I done some serious tweaks. The problem is the stats on my R8 are 0-60 in 2.0 and 0-100 in 3.8 which means my One:1 should be a second faster on launch but they both hit 20.5 on drag race.
Not good is it lmao. The Regera needs the biggest buff though, it’s the fastest accelerating car in the world but on the game it takes off like a Bus.
Don’t know about all of this buffing and nerfing mess as it relates to Forza…but if anything needs a slight nerfing, it’s the AI. Most of the street races are nigh impossible to finish higher than 9th on just Highly Skilled difficulty, and I’ve totally given up on the Pro level, where I usually race.
Although, as a matter of personal preference, perhaps the handling characteristics for RWD cars should be given a bit of a revisit. Things feel…more slippery here than compared to Horizon 2.
There seems to be a quite a few engines in the game that seam to be to underperforming with modifications compared to there in real life counterparts.
Let’s take a look at the 1977 pontiac Trans Am. It originally came with a Pontiac 400.
With proper modifications to the engine heads and block and no major aftermarket parts other than cam it can easily achieve more than 500 horsepower but in game with all these aftermarket parts you can’t break much more than 450 horsepower. And the block of the Pontiac 400 is the same as a Pontiac 455 Super Duty. What makes the Super Duty unique is that it is reinforce to maintain higher levels of stress for longer much longer without splitting down the middle… most specifically in the lifter Valley with more webbing. And it has a longer stroking crank that is about it. Pontiac has used the same block from under 300 cubic inches all the way to the 455.
And with a small change in motor mounts you can easily do a engine swap with the Pontiac 455 Super Duty. No other major changes need it yet in game you cannot do this.
There is a lot of sources that it developers can look at that will show in real life results and how to to get over 500 horses with a Pontiac 400. No supercharger and no turbos just carb. This is a link of one really good source material. https://www.amazon.com/How-Build-Performance-Pontiac-Design/dp/1884089674
to the developers please take a look at this and a meanie other engine build source materials and compare them with what you have in game and try to bring them more in line with their in real life counterparts I know this is just a game but I like to see things is close to realistic as possible and I’m sure many others here would like this to
And thank you for releasing this wonderful game for PC
