There were a lot of cars dropped between FM4 and FM5, and a lot of them I think should be put back into the games. Which cars that did not make the cut do you want to have back?
2009 Renault Twingo-A very reliable hatchback that has done well for me in the earlier championships in FM4. I think it would be a great car for another Forza Horizon game. (Last App. FM4)
2004 Opel Speedster-A good small sports coupe that was one of my favorites. (FM4)
Gumpert Apollo-I think we need this car thrown back into the mix because it is beautiful, and has almost record-setting speed. I’ll bet T10 has lost the license to it by this point unfortunately. (FH)
More Porsche…
There are probably many others that I cannot remember off of the top of my head. What do you think?
PS I’m sorry if it sounds too much like a wishlist, but it is more anchored toward FH3 more than anything.
I miss cars such as Weismann’s and Morgan’s from the Horizon games as I think they make great cruising cars and they are something a bit different.
I also miss the Vauxhall Insignia VXR as I think it still looks and drives great a few years after it’s release and it was a good alternative from the Evo, Impreza, S4 norm.
The cars that I missed the most are the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 rally sport, 2006 Koenigsegg CCX, 1999 Ferrari 360 Modena, 1997 Acura NSX, 2003 Dodge Viper SRT-10, 2005 Ford Mustang GT, 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS, 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT-8, 2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4, 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird, 2010 Bentley Continental Supersports, 2011 Ford Ka, 2004 Mazdaspeed RX8, 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport, 2010 (not 2009) Ferrari 458 Italia, and 2010 Mercedes Benz SLR Stirling Moss since those are the cars I spend the most time with. The cars in Forza 5 and 6, and Horizon 2 don’t hold my attention that much because they don’t peak my interests as the cars I mentioned. If they were added in, then I wouldn’t hate Forza 5 and 6, and maybe Horizon 2 as I do now.
Mitsubishi Starion 1988
I just love 80’s cars and the Starion is SO 80’s
Lotus Esprit Turbo 1980
This was by far my favorite car to race in the upper classes. I had a solid tune on it, not to mention the car is absolutely GORGEOUS.
DeLorean DMC-12 1982
This was my favorite car in FM3 and FM4. I used this car from F-Class all the way to A-Class (I think A was the highest you could upgrade it to). I spent hours upon hours perfectly tuning and tweaking this car. Super sad that it hasn’t been in Forza since FM4.
Toyota Celica 1984
Again, I just love 80’s cars. The folded-paper aesthetic just makes my heart skip a beat.
Pontiac Fiero 1988
Pontiac is my favorite car manufacturer, and while stuff the Firebird and GTO always make an appearance, it was nice to see some of their smaller successes pop up too.
Cadillac Eldorado 1959
Those FINS. How can you say no to a car as magnificent as this?
Honda CR-Z 2011
I’m not a huge Honda fan, but the CR-Z is one sexy beast.
Opel Speedster 2004
Just a fun, light, mid-engine zippy car.
Dodge Challenger 2009
2012 and 2015 models kept adding plastic and rubber components. 2009 had chrome accents and overall just looked better. Plus you could convert it to AWD. New Forzas don’t let you do that.
Dodge Charger 2006
The very first model of the re-introduced Charger was so great looking. Not so much anymore.
wheely 2 - Right on about that Integra. There have been so many missing tuned rides from FM1 and FM2… The different MR2 builds more notably, to me. Those big scoops…how I miss them…
Tooly I Am King - Right on the Chrysler, too. I never messed with it much, but if the Veyron must be in, then surely the ME412 deserves to still be around. Surely it can turn better than the pillbug.
Looking way back then as well, how about that other long lost Porsche? The, eh, OTHER 911 GT1? The PRE-98 one? The one which appeared in-game only in the Street version…? I loved setting it up alongside the McLaren F1 and Mercedes CLK-GTR… Speaking of which, full race versions of the CLK-GTR/LM and that 911 GT1 should’ve made appearances, too…
Chrysler ME-412 from what I remember, this car was amazing
2002 Mazda RX7 Spirit R (at least give the ugly 97 RX7 in the game all the aero options as the spirit R as well as the stock aero) also the 3 rotor tt swap the one not from the Furai
2006 C6 Z06 I loved the balance of this car
1997 Acura NSX loved the aero options and handling
Mazda Furai beautiful car with beautiful handling
1968 Plymouth Barracuda S. Back in the eary seventies my older brother owned two '67 Barracuda’s, and I loved those cars. To this day, the sixties Barracuda is my favorite car of all time. Someday, before I die, I hope to finally get one. They are incredible.
1968 Mustang Shelby. Not a huge Ford fan, but '68 Shelby Mustang’s are just so damn pretty. If I had the money and room to garage one, I would have one.
1968 Pontiac Firebird. So much cooler than a Camaro.
Sixties American car’s have so much character and personality. There should be more of them in Forza. If I had my way…
