Cars - Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe 1965 - Cockpit and FP audio lacks punch

Good sound on this car but the cockpit audio + first person view audio needs depth, impact, and “punch”.

Thank you.

The engine audio volume of this car is extremely low, any camera view.

It’s not getting many votes. People likely don’t even know these threads exist unless they do a search.

Here’s hoping it gets an authentic sound. I myself avoid driving it as it’s quiet and muted, especially in the first person views.

It’s not so bad and a lot better than some exagerrated I4 engines which sometimes causes pain in ears because of high frequency. Or totally muted like M5 2003. But I agree this car should be checked. Vote

Thank you. It’s a half hearted attempt at best. Both this and the 427 Cobra deserve their true/actual sound. These things are quite loud and rumbly in first person perspectives, especially since you’re sitting almost on top of the exhaust pipes.

Deserves a re-recording to get the depth and nuances right.

Do you feel like creating a single thread perhaps, that
people can vote on regarding the number of cars with audio levels being too low. They really need some kind of volume normalization, whether manually or automatically. Being asked to create a separate thread for each car ensures that none will get enough votes for action to be taken.

Several people already tried that (yeah it makes more sense) but they were all closed down with the CM asking people to create a dedicated thread per car.

That’s how they are tracking issues.

Ok. Thanks anyway.
