really not the case, the more people who know, the more use it, and it can just wreck racing..
E class is my example, (and D) with the 550…
if these issues were fixed sooner, yeah, i agree, but the porsche has been broken since brands hatch update, and still no fix..

ive tried it, and its not really a glitch, more just a stupid tuning method, that can be faster, but it also has lots of drawbacks. to get anything out of this, you have to be a pretty good driver..

this is different to the porsche 550 (and a few other cars) where adding rear toe, increases speed..
where, you can be a total noob, and still smash everyone, and still win races..

It’s definitely a glitch. You can see in telemtry that the tires go well past normal friction and yet still maintain grip. The fact changing the FPS outside variables of 30 turns it off shows it is a physics glitch.

If they knew how to properly lock down the max FPS, I wonder if this would’ve been found.

Set your bump from 8-10. Set up your car like a normal meta-tune. and go race. Every 10 laps or so, you will get an extra grippy lap. That is the glitch. Have fun.

I don’t think that’s quite right, but I found someone reputable who’s got the numbers so I’m hoping to find out and test this weekend

Firstly guy complaining about RR (road runner) the man is literally E-sports he raced in frc / has the esports roll in Forza verse and is among the fastest current players in Forza the man is also a tuning goat so there’s that

And I also literally gave the exact numbers and to my boy tru and he’s right it’s just bump but if you were in the upper circles of class racing and rivals bump has been used for just over a year now everyone online and rivals at this point is using it it’s the same as running 40/40 arb or 13/13 rebound is just meta tuning at this point

If you say you tried the bump and it didn’t work it’s because your tune is bad you can’t just put bump on a car you need to actually have a good tune on the car then add some bump anything from 8/8 bump and above it will start to work

T10 has been aware of this bump tuning method also since March of last year yet nothing has changed I believe because they would need to completely overhaul the physics in the game or make some major changes I really hope all tunes and rivals get completely cleared in the future and we can all go back to tuning properly

Just high bump? Nothing to do with soft springs, suspension geo max abuse, diff settings, etc.

Outside of the obvious need to have a tune that drives well

I was told it’s more than just high bump, but then again, the videos showing off the pace gap with these tunes were of you driving so I guess you would know better than anyone lol

9.8/9.8 has been the only way to tune 95% of all cars in this game that was determined a month into the game by all the fast guys

Dive squat base tune is always +50/-50 for pretty much all cars also

550/550 spring is my starting point for all rwd cars

99% of all cars in the game run 100/0 diff

These are all pretty basic things tbh used by everyone who’s decently fast and this really only applies to class cars gt cars is where you start to get different suspension geo numbers but not by much

Ahh yes from the lmgc finals we have multiple esports peoples and some of the top tuners of every aspect in Forza on jsr those other teams have great race car tuners on there team I can give them that but the McLaren needed a class tuning touch they had a mega tune on the car in a open tuning comp for money of corse people are going to use the bast tune possible

It’s more than just tuning Chronic, given that it requires a frame rate that is non-standard to utilise it. Otherwise you wouldn’t have leagues running spec tunes in the interest of competitive fairness and integrity.

The frame rate thing is a weird one works for some people doesn’t work for other but that’s a Forza issue when the game first dropped anyone on pc had the advantage with higher fps stuff then they fixed that and something happened also vanquish is on console so can’t adjust that

I noticed even without bump on auto frame rate when I got my pc I was slower then I was on Xbox

I would absolutely love to see tora move to spec tunes and alot of people love that also I want the most fair racing possible

Human nature is unavoidable in all human endeavors, and competitiveness often drives people to push not only the limits of their capabilities, but also the limits of the rules.

Whether it’s the Olympics, or the Tour de France, or business, or investing, or politics, or real-world motorsport, or video games, etc., top-tier competitors always look for ways to get away with bending/breaking the rules.

When highly competitive contenders reach a point where they can no longer find or develop any more fair advantages, they look for unfair advantages and constantly probe the limits of detection & enforcement until they’re essentially playing by a whole different set of (unwritten) “rules.”

That’s not to say top-tier competitors are not skilled - they are usually much more skilled than most - but they raise suspicions when their results exceed the credible limits of skill alone.

So its been a year, since the brands hatch update activated a glitch on the porsche 550, pretty much making the car perform at a level of the class above where you are using it.
(in E class, its like running a D class car)

With this being a thing, and some awesome tuners sharing the glitched tune, it totally wrecked E class, and half of the time in D and C class, you will have several low skilled drivers in the 550, doing laps 2 seconds faster than the lobby.

the problem has been reported, yet, nothing..
they have options..,
if it was too hard to fix the glitch, all they had to do was ban the glitch cars for online use, making them only to be used for rivals.
doing it this way, they also wouldnt have to delete the leaderboards..

but nothing has been done..

the touring cars have been rebalanced 2 times.

the GT division, was made into 2 separate divisions, and both of them have had the cars rebalanced, twice..

but nothing has been done about the porsche glitch,
E, D and C class, full of low skill drivers, doing laps faster than the most skilled driver can do in a non glitch car, and not only that, most of them, will wreck you if you get close to them, as they have no race craft, which is something you learn as you become faster, by practicing and putting the time in, to become better.
but what can you do..

anyways, keep an eye out for a few new glitch cars that have become usable, after the latest update increased grip (again)
theres one for c class that is a second faster than the porsche 550.

Not sure why the Eclipse glitch was merged with this. This works on any GT car an supposedly any other car in the game. It’s not the same glitch. Hiugh bump works sometimes (9+), but to get to work all the time requires crazy suspension geometry and super soft suspension. It’s not a Porsche Spyder issue.

That’s all most of us were asking for. Is the car performing as intended or not? If not then rebalance it and wipe laps set with it.

After some testing, here’s what I’ve found about the bump glitch and how it works

You need to have your bump setting at 8 or higher to get the most out of the glitch. Higher the number faster you can go. This is where the effect is most noticeable.

The game needs to be running at a stable 60 FPS. I have not tested at different frame rates. PC players generally have an advantage here since it’s easier to lock in consistent frame rates. Higher FPS stability seems to directly influence the glitch’s effectiveness, giving you extra grip levels when it triggers.

Some players say they can get the glitch to work every lap. Personally, I’ve only been able to get it to happen every few laps, even when driving consistently. And sometimes it will start working mid way through a lap and stop before the lap is over.

Testing with bump set to 4 or below still showed the same type of grip increase, but it’s more subtle. The benefit is there, and your lap time might still improve, but the effect isn’t as dramatic.

You need to be a very consistent/fast driver to really notice when it triggers. It’s not always obvious unless you’re hitting the same lines and inputs lap after lap.

Feel free to test this out yourself. The grip boost is real, and while it might not happen every lap, it can still give you an edge especially if you build around it properly.

I do have a tune shared the Audi #4 90 GTO if anyone wants to do further testing. It’s not the best setup for the car but you can really tell when it’s working. Drive it at hockenheimring
