The new 2020 version of the Oreca 07 has an issue with the livery mapping of it’s rear wing.
This picture is how it is on the 2017 model.
This is from the 2020 model.
In the livery editor, it is impossible to give any color or branding to the horizontal element of the rear wing assembly.
While the general mapping of the car is an improvement, this issue is a fatal flaw that would impact anyone (re)creating a livery that has this bit painted, harming accuracy if this were to be based of a real team it’s livery.
EDIT : I was also just told it extends to the numberpanels also being unpaintable, so i’m updating this topic to include both as one general mapping issue.
As someone who likes to paint, this forces me to still work with the 2017 model meaning i have to deny those that want to race the 2020 model from my designs and recreations.
Adding to the fact the 2020 model has the wrong exhaust still (there’s a separate topic for that already) and this car feels like 1 step forward, 2 steps back.
