Cars - McLaren F1 1993 - Sound is weak and muted plus weird downshifting sound (1944560)

Alright, there’s nothing wrong with the sound itself, it IS the correct sound, so please don’t go on changing it!

I want to point two things out here, however:

  1. The sound itself feels weak, quiet and suppressed. I’m not talking about LFE, that’s fine. The exhaust needs to be louder in chase cam for instance. The motor noise and engine vibration/rumble needs to be much more pronounced in the first person views. Again, the car feels like it’s accelerating in a tunnel a couple of hundred metres away. Give it some volume and detail - I think ALL cars in the game can benefit from at least a 40-50% volume boost.

  2. The engine revs too high on the downshifts. This odd behaviour has been identified with multiple cars in the game and the F1 is one of them apparently. I’m driving it stock right now. Using a controller and normal manual. The driver should just “blip” the throttle not rev too high or “over rev” the engine on downshifts. It sounds like he’s trying to accelerate on every downshift with his foot down on the throttle rather than heel’toeing the throttle for a seamless downshift - aka. rev matching.
So the downshifts sound abnormal as a result.

That is all.

Any update on improving this car and the other modern McLarens that need it so badly?

Really looking forward to an improvement to this and the F1 GTR in a future update. Thank you!
