I noticed when doing all my Forzathon races in free play that the cars would load in kind of a grey-scale. When selecting the car the color would be as awarded or purchased but then when loading they would be a base grey with maybe some other drab color. I didn’t see this issue in the known issues but have read about it in other forums. This is on Xbox One.

Mine seem to be doing this now as well. I think it was fine before the patch. Hope they fix it. My 918 Spider looks like garbage in that dull gray color. I also notice that at the pre race screen that shows the driver and car next to the pits, the car will be lit and shaded as if it’s night time when it’s actually day. Looks really strange.
I was having that issue will all my cars yesterday doing Forzathon. My '69 GTO that was orange would be purple during the race and my '95 GT2 was grey instead of red. The only thing that corrected this was to quit the game and reboot it.
Short of doing a hard reset nothing I did changed what was going on. I just wanted to complete this Forzathon so I wasn’t too concerned, just made it kind of a lack luster event.
Happens for me as well. Seems like the base color loads grey instead of whatever is in my garage. This even happened with a Forza GT car with the standard livery (with lots of logos, etc.) - the race started and all the logos were there, but, the base color was grey instead of blue.
I had this issue yesterday in splitscreen mode. Car of player 2 was grey.
Just happened to me as well. Two separate races and different cars. Stock 'Cuda and Challenger. - Both were grey when they loaded in.
add me to the list. seems like it is only my porsches that load up as primer grey.
today some of my cars have lost the livery design and became all grey… i had to re select the design from " my designs " … now im checking all the cars in garage… ( xbox one x )
i’ve lost the design of the halloween bash prizes too… in this case i cant solve the problem…
