In game the Cobra R’s base handling is very poor due to its lack of downforce. It feels very floaty and does not feel planted on the road at all unless Forza Aero is installed. Cars such as the 1995 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 and 2002 BMW M3 GTR have higher lateral g’s stats than the Cobra R and feel more stable to drive. This is despite the Cobra R scoring quite well on skidpad tests in real life.
In stock form it’s also fitted with low grip economy tires for some reason, even though in real life Cobra R’s came fitted with what appear to be street or sports tires.
Although this is a minor nitpick, I think the Cobra R should be moved to the Track Toys category considering it is a stripped down track version of the New Edge Mustang. Not only are some muscle cars classed as Track Toys, the 2002 BMW M3 GTR is also classed as a Track Toy despite it being the street model.
