Cars - Ford #4 Ford Focus RS window tints & paints

When applying window tints to the 2001 #4 Ford Focus RS only the side windows are tinted. The rear window remains clear.

Also, the paint panels’ coordinates are offset so when applying a vinyl shape to the Top surface it has to be offset to -1.00 to be centered and when mirroring something from left to right (and vice versa) the height has to be adjusted to be exactly “mirrored”. Lastly, the rear panel does not allow for a vinyl shape to be extended onto either of the side panels exactly without a step that is impossible to align perfectly. Super frustrating trying to make a replica rally livery with a split decal.

Just another set of glitch on this car which is brand new to Forza. Whoever coded it is not helping the game’s reputation.

This isn’t unique to this car. Many cars have offset vinyls. When you’re painting always determine h offset first, then lay down your race stripes.

A good tip to guarantee symmetry:

Apply a bright green circle around a keyhole or other small fixed feature on the car. Make sure it fits neatly around the keyhole so you only see a small thin green circle. Then group ALL vinyls on that side and mirror to the other side. Then adjust the green dot to perfectly cover the keyhole again and everything is perfect! Don’t forget to remove the green dots though (and mirror any decals)!

Yes I’m aware older vehicles have this lack of precision which I cannot fathom how it happens because someone has to input the values for coordinates they’re just too incompetent to do it properly. Shouldn’t be hard to find those responsible for this one’s messiness as it’s brand new to the game.

Great advice which I always do using a thin strip for the top, front and back surfaces and some other marker for sides. But I’m telling you the rear on THIS car doesn’t align to either side. I have Michelin decals on the rear bumpers’ sides which extend to rear surface. They cannot be aligned. It really takes the mickey.
