Cars - Chevrolet Corvette Z06 '23- missing Downforce Tuning

This is specifically for the brand new 2023 Z06 and not the 2015 Z06 and is present on all Platforms

The 2023 Corvette E-Ray which was added a while ago has a Front Bumper and Wing Option which mimics that of the Z06 variant and these two parts unlock Downforce Tuning on the E-Ray.

The Real 2023 Z06 obviously comes with these parts installed from Stock but it lacks the Downforce tuning that the E-Ray gets.

This is an unfortunate inconsistency and means that to unlock Downforce Tuning on the Z06 you need to use Forza Aero.

I understand that this is likely a High Risk Fix and unlikely to be resolved but it’s very disappointing to see so many issues with Brand New Cars to the series having slipped under the radar over the last few months.

Hopefully further additions can receive a bit more attention to double-check potential issues prior to their implementation. If any Staff require anything of me related to the above you know where to find me.

Haven’t tweaked the aero on this thing at all, so that’s a shame. Was it adjustable in Motorsport?

Unfortunately not so it seems to be an oversight in both games.

Took a peek at the “Will Not Fix” issues list and this was at the top:

Due to risks associated with changing car performance, gameplay behaviours and impact to other players, we are not considering making any changes to car performance or car parts unless a certain car modification/performance results into a game-breaking event such as client crashes or heavily disrupting gameplay scenarios.

This was the example they gave. So it’s very unlikely that this will get fixed.

I don’t expect this to be fixed but hopefully if it’s logged there’s a chance for further additions to have a bit more care given before they’re fully released.

In some cases bugs will not be fixed due to a variety of reasons. The developers have noted this issue as a high risk fix.
