I found a very old bug where some vehicles in the game auto-shift while in manual mode in difficulty settings. I went through reddit and google in search of solutions and haven’t found one yet. It is absolutely shocking that such an old bug is still in the game. How has it not been fixed yet? If anybody can provide any solutions, i would be grateful.

It is not a glitch. That is bad ping or sever lag from your end . I recently had these issues here and there but it only does under certain conditions.
Ive realised it only does it when my internet is having higher ping then nornal and the game is trying to keep you going forward thinking you might have shifted while having hard ping. " but im not lagging when im with friends" yes you can say that but the servers are delayed and have ping smacking which means you are no longer a directed by a single host like you are FH4 or FH3. You are your own host. If you go head on with someone that is sittint still while they are in your convoy. If you hit pause feet from smacking them and they still get hit. You are having very high ping issues which is causing your game to go onto assist. I recommend getting better internet or find out what is causing your lag. I have gotten better internet and all of those provlens have gone away without a problem.

The ping explanation sounds reasonable to me. Ive had this happen a handful of times, and each time closing the game out and restarting seemed to “fix” it.
It’s not an internet issue. My internet is perfect and still does it. Alottttttt of people are having this issue
