Cars - Aston Martin Valkyrie 2023 - Car info displays incorrect weight, torque, and power (1685548)

real weight - 1435 kilograms
ingame weight - 1030 kilograms

The vehicle is too light by 405 kilograms

When I look up the weight of the car I see 1355 kg (2987 lb)

But according to the Wikipedia article above, 1030 kg is also true:
“At the same time the power output figures were released, the weight was announced to be 1,030 kg (2,271 lb), surpassing the intended 1:1 power-to-weight ratio with 840 kW (1,126 hp) per ton.”

You’re right, they do mention that in the article under Production…

Yeah it only was announced by Aston Martin before the car was going into production, but they didnt quite reached their goal weight for the production-car. If I am correctly informed.

Both the Valkyrie:s are so much faster in the game than in real life. The regular Valkyrie weighs 1355 kg, not 1030 that the game says, if you change that I think the car become more realistic. The AMR PRO version has the right specifications, but its sooooo much faster in the game than in real life. In real life its almost as fast as a LMP1-car like the Ginetta or the Porsche 919, but in the game the car can generate over 5 g:s in some corner and goes as fast as a modern f1-car, not realistic at all.

There is a bug you should report on Aston Martin Valkyrie amr pro on le mans old circuit mulsanne. The car on the straight line is jumping a lot on suspension. Try it and let me know what you think about it

They haven’t fixed McLaren P1 being overpowered since it came out. Good luck with getting this fixed.

But do what I say trust me, get this new Aston Martin Valkyrie amr pro and go full speed at le mans old mussane circuit. See the behavior of the car it jumps bro I’m not talking about top speed the car at 300 is jumping literally of the road

It’s not a bug. Both Valkyrie and AMR Pro utilize ‘ground effect’ to generate massive amounts of downforce from underbody. Downforce pushes the car down and when it hits the ground, aerodynamic flow is disrupted, which means that downforce is suddenly gone, the suspension springs the car back up, aerodynamic flow is reattached once more, downforce pushes the car down again, rinse and repeat, you get bouncing; this effect is referred to as ‘porpoising’. Of course, I’m extremely paraphrasing here.

When Formula 1 switched to ground effect cars in 2022, they encountered same kind of problems as AMR Pro shows in-game. KYLE.ENGINEERS, ex-Mercedes F1 Team aerodynamicist, has done a very in depth video about how this happens, it’s about F1 but the same principles apply here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5a4sBF3s0UI

These comments are very disappointing to read. Looks like they are not paying attention to individual car performance characteristics, let alone car sound accuracy.
