Cars - 1986 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat - Stock Engine Camshaft Upgrade Values switched around - 3899785

Platforms where I’ve seen it: Xbox One S, PC (Steam), PC (Microsoft Store) and Xbox Series.

The new 1986 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat from Autumn of Series 21 has currently got a bug where the Camshaft Upgrades have been assigned the wrong Power and Torque Values when upgrading the Stock Engine.

This doesn’t apply to any of the Engine Swaps though.

The Sports Camshaft provides more of a Horsepower and Torque increase than the Race Camshaft which is backwards.

I believe they’ve had their values switched rather than being mislabeled as the Race Camshaft still provides a RPM Increase over the Sport Camshafts like they should.

From Stock the upgrades are as follows:

Sports Camshafts:

  • 71kw of Power / + 95 hp

  • 31 N.m of Torque / + 22 lb-ft

Redline increases to ~6500RPM

Race Camshafts:

  • 50kw of Power / + 68hp

  • 26 N.m of Torque / + 19 lb-ft

Redline increases to ~7600RPM

In short the Power and Torque Increases just need to be swapped for the two of the above upgrades, the Street Camshafts are fine.

Not sure if it’s even possible now or whether it would be easier to switch their Labels and switch the Max RPM Values for them or just do a label switch and ignore the RPMs (which isn’t ideal but would work).

“Downgrading” from Race to Sport:

In some cases bugs will not be fixed due to a variety of reasons. The developers have noted this issue as a high risk fix.
