As the subject suggests… How do you make carbon fiber decals. I know, in paint, it’s a special color. Easy peasy. But, I can’t seem to find a way to do carbon fiber decals. I’ve seen them on downloaded designs. Is there a way, or are those designs, modded?
I can’t explain how to do it, though I know how. I’d have to be doing it while explaining it. lol. Haven’t made carbon fiber decals for a while, and can’t remember the exact placement of all the shapes needed, as I’m not at home right now with my game on.
You’ll just have to do a youtube search for carbon fiber decals in Forza. Any video from any of the Forza games would be applicable as the paint booths are essentially the same from FM2 through FM6. Hope this helps a little. Sorry I couldn’t be of MORE help, but at least I’m trying. lol
Pretty much you have to paint the car carbon first then just overlap whatever designs you want on top and leave the areas you want carbon fiber uncovered. That’s the way I do it.
There is a certain decal that has like a bunch of squares. Take a black square and lay it down. Then take the “bunch of squares” decal , and paste it on on the black square. Depending on how big your carbon fiber area will be, you might have to stamp it a few times to make it look right and not stretched. Make sure to match the squares. Sorry if it is complicated, I made it as simple as possible.n Also, paint the top layer grey.
