So i’ve looked all over google for the last few days and as i thought i just found junk. I asked my friend who plays Horizon 2 why my Car Meets aren’t coming up and he hasn’t got a clue either. I’ve done the finale, i’m a level 87 and got all the Barn Finds but still no Car Meet event or ANNA saying where to go has popped up? And when i drive into the car meets it just puts me back on the road! My friend invited me but it just says keep playing more Horizon 2? Can anyone help it’s really annoying how i can’t access a feature that’s supposed to be accessible. 
I have the same problem and have since the game came out. I tried everything they suggested and nothing works. I talked to a xbox support person and they said they don’t think it’s on their end and are blaming playground games servers. That’s not the case if some are able to and others not, also they said that the car meets issue is not in any of the updates or issues they are working on for the game so we paid full price for 2/3 of a game? can I get 1/3 of my money back? oh and the update for the new expansion still doesn’t work for me 24 hours later? worst game of the year for me so far and I love the help from Microsoft…pointing fingers instead of trying to figure it out for their customers.

Wish I had this problem. Every time I start the game it insists on taking extra time to load me into a car meet, which I then have to back out of and spend more time loading.

I wish that i could have your problem Ti Hsien as my favourite thing about this game is the car meets. playground games need to sort it out man
