Car collecting

so for tiers cars 6, 7 and 8, could they be new not been shown so far? Do you have any chance of getting new cars inside those tiers?

From what I’ve seen, car tier & collector points are directly linked to car price. I haven’t worked out the collector points, but tier levels are as follows:

Tier 1 - 0-50,000cr
Tier 2 - 50,000-100,000cr
Tier 3 - 100,000-250,000cr
Tier 4 - 250,000-500,000cr
Tier 5 - 500,000cr+

Watching streaming from ontm I could see that when I reached tier 4 in the collection of cars, there are 6 and 7 tiers, and the question would be: Are there any new cars in these tiers?

I doubt there will be any new cars added beyond tier 5, since cars like the 250 GTO and the One:1 are all in tier 5. Higher tiers probably just increase your level rewards & discounts.

there are achievements for collection of tiers cars 6, 7 and 8, from what I see, all cars have a tier, of all so far shown closes the list made previously, has not yet completed the +700 cars of the game.

Those achievements just state that you need so many cars to reach each tier, not that there are actually cars in them. I stand by my previous statement.

I remember in a video about the series of Forza Cups, they said that when finishing the first series of championships, would have a surprise. For me, the surprise is in a new series of cars that unlock cars of tiers superior to 5. It does not make sense have a tier above 5 and do not have new cars to be graded in their respective tiers. This collection of cars serves to highlight the importance of each vehicle within the game, and that if you buy them according to your current tier, it will unlock the successor. It does not make sense, after tier 5, to have nothing else to find

It makes a lot of sense. Most people don’t play games that long, yet still want to be able to buy a specific car that’s in the game. Keeping that behind tier 8 just means 50+ hours of gameplay just to buy that car. The way it is set up now you can get to tier 5 easily within six to seven hours and are able to buy whatever you want.

yes, the game is very easy to collect the cars, now the curiosity is to know about the cars of these tiers

What’s the point of locking all the cars away? Casual gamer driving Ferraris here. Temporarily returning to FH4 (which was awesome!)

Im not trolling, just a casual gamer out of the target audience at 43 years giving feedback and not having 500 hours time to play to unlock it all. No offense, happy drivin’ everyone!

Yup I agree. As a casual player I’d be fine if I could just buy the cars I want. But now they are locked meaning you’ll inevitably need to buy cars you don’t want in order to gain points to open the next tier. Making matters worse is that some cars can only be found in loot crates, the career mode championship and in #forzathon events (and various other barriers preventing purchase).

The game is “Forza Motorsport” not “Jay Leno’s Garage”! Shouldn’t this game be about racing cars we love not collecting all 700 cars by grinding? Turn 10 has totally lost their way with this series.

You can use any car you’d like in freeplay. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m not sure if you can upgrade them to them there.

Does anyone know what types of rewards we can expect form each tier?
I went from 4 to 5, and my credit payout went from 50K to…50K? Seems strange that it didn’t go up at all.

Anyone know what the next tiers will provide us with?

Yep, this is the part of the game I am disappointed with. It’s early days yet, but potentially this may have ruined the game for me altogether.

I don’t have much time to game, so I would buy the UE for the 2x Cr boost (which has its own issue now of course), enabling me to relatively quickly buy the cars I want to use. I would usually pick a couple of cars from each performance level so I could compete at each level.

Now though it seems I’ll have to spend more time earning credits to waste on buying cars I’ve no interest in using, to just unlock the ability to purchase cars the cars I want in order to compete at a higher level. Basically it’s looking like I’m never going to be able to use any of the higher performance cars in the game now.

Imagine buying the £90 Ultimate Edition of a racing car game and never being able to use any of the proper racing cars in the game. Lol. What have I done?

I wanted to purchase a 06-07 Subaru STI hawk eyes and ive noticed its locked… i cant even view it on the buy cars lot. WHY! Im absolutely shocked that Turn 10 would do something like that. I pay good money for the game and i cant even drive the car i want to drive. I know im ranting but what was Turn 10 thinking? is this some kind of joke?

You have to do the invitational event to unlock some cars.
I don’t like how the structured the acquisition of cars.
And there is a pitiful amount of money you start out with and some of the cars are very expensive.
I started out with 25 million credits in Forza 6 and it was easy to earn a lot of money.
I think nobody bought tokens in Forza 6 as it was easy to get in game credits, so Turn 10 made it much harder so people pay real world money for the cars.

That’s going to be interesting if and when the Auction House becomes available. Will you be able to bid on cars that are otherwise locked? I should think so!

Probably, but they will be expensive. Like really expensive.

The auction will rise.
I pray that there is no monopoly by some greedy players like FH3 there.

However, if the auction “bustles”, some T10 affirmants say:
“Please open the crate! Do offline events and Forzathon! One car is enough! Load upgrade and design every time! Don’t complain!”
…They working at T10?

My favorite car was also a victim of this stupid system.
It is absurd. Who is the guy being who came up with this system?
Please don’t touch for Forza again.
