In career mode are the races limited to a certain class or does it just match your opponents to the class of your car?
In Gran Turismo 6 races will have strict rules on what class, what tires, etc.

Career mode does have class restrictions. Sometimes there are other restrictions also, like body style or year of make.
Career mode consists of repeated league races. Once you’ve completed your first league, you will be able to choose another one, and at that time the requirements will be whatever that league requires.
I’m trying to find my post about this exact same thing from last month. Basically instead of putting it in game, since that would be too easy, their is a forum post by a mod that list all the leagues and the requirements. You have to scroll through it basically to find the league that you are interested in and then scroll down to find what cars qualify.

Found the link → Event Restrictions
That’s great thanks. The menu system on this game seems to have a few issues. Good thing the racing makes up for it!
Yeah, I miss being able to press a button and see what the exact restrictions are. I’m really not sure why we lost basic functions like this.
This is my first time ever playing Forza. The first series was tough for me, but I completed my second series yesterday “Hot Hatch” series and did very well. I’m sure most of it was the car being easier to handle vs the one I used in the first series but hopefully it’s also partially me getting more used to and comfortable with the game itself. But yes, I agree that it would be nice if it told you details of the series. At least it tells you if you have a car in the garage capable to race in the series, but I don’t want to buy cars and HOPE that I am then eligible lol
Yea the feature that told you what the restrictions were in game along with some others from Forza 4 were left out. I guess that is due to this being a “New” game as T10 states and nothing is missing, even though its titled as 5th in a series.
