Cant play ranked in group

So the problem is that when one of my friends starts a ranked adventure , the window wont pop up for me when a game is available except my friend , who is the group leader. He accepts it and get into the game without me. It only happens in ranked, the normal online adventure works fine. Any help or idea ?

Same and it’s pissing me off so much, it happens over 50% of the time, one of us gets into a ranked round while the other one didn’t even get the pop up.

Each time you initiate a room and do NOT get 12, you have to reset the search so your friends get pulled in. If it ever says not enough players to start the room, restart the search. Thats the only way around that problem

Yes, this is the only way to stop this problem. It’s a frustrating process given how often you get 11/12 in team adventure but that’s the only current workaround.

I tried this tonight, but my wife and I had the constant 11/12s tonight. It’d ask me to accept and on her computer, it would say that I was still matchmaking. She never got the prompt to accept. Really frustrating.

Unpopular opinion alert but they should stop groups playing ranked together as it’s too open to abuse and manipulation of the ranking system otherwise.

Teams entering team adventure has to be acceptable. The failing is in not properly punishing those who abuse the process - it’s not rocket science to spot that the GM with three 20/0 rammers on their team is doing something wrong.

Not unpopular at all. We know how those teams rig the system. I wrote names down so I know when i’m in a room with them. I havent played teams in a month since i’m already GM. But as its been mentioned before, the team will stay as long as they’re winning, when they start losing 2 or 3 will quit out and unbalance the point system making it impossible to win the lobby. I refuse to even participate, if I see them, I rather just quit early and take the penalty

Yeah, the Team adventure is deeply flawed in that regard. There are three obvious things that should happen:

  1. Complaints about the obvious cheating should be properly dealt with. It may be that is already the case but the fact that obvious cheaters have reached GM level suggests it probably isn’t happening or if it is the punishment isn’t severe enough;

  2. Players who drop out of a race should count as beaten (rather than be removed from the scoring completely) - the ludicrous situation at the moment that rammers can be used to slow down their opponents and then drop out without any penalty to the team score needs to be fixed. A penalty to them means nothing as they want to keep their score at 20/0 to maximise the points for their team.

  3. The points system needs to be remedied to stop whatever makes it possible for a team of two GMs and three 20/0 rammers (for example) obtaining loads of points for a win. It literally costs hundreds of points to lose to a team of these jokers (and, of course, you are probably going to lose as they are (a) quick anyway and (b) have a handy advantage of a group of rammers slowing down any opposition). If you enter with a group of randoms you have no chance.

One and two should be easy fixes - I accept three might be more difficult.

I too have seen GM boosting which is annoying, I don’t play team adventure that often but I have been trying to in order to complete one of my star card objectives, the boosters are easy to pick out. Not all GMs are boosters though. At the minute I can’t even get into ranked games, since last update that is, it let’s me pick a car then disconnects me, how lovely is that. If I am willing to try something out of my comfort zone I’d like to at least be able to get in to it in the first place.

I hit a little streak over the weekend…won like 21 of 25 rooms. I’m now 100 points from GM in FFA. Ever since they banned those cars i’ve been killing it in dirt rooms.
