Can't go online in Forza Horizon 2 (Xbox One)

Hi Guys,
I’m unable to access the online components in Forza Horizon 2! I’ve checked the obvious (Gold membership, restrictions etc), but still no help! Every time i try to access Online freeroam and the such, the game looks for and finds an online session and i get prompted to join but it always ends with the message “unable to join, check your network settings”. My network is fine! Have even tested multiplayer connection from the Xbox Settings app and can access and download any game related content too. Any clues what’s the problem?

I have the same problem. Check your IP Sec setting on your router, apparently that works. No joy for me however so I piggyback onto other peoples partys.
