Can't download - what else I need?

They said I need win 10 - Okay I’m updating to Win 10.
They said I need to update to win10 1511 - Okay I’m update it
They said Nvidia GTS450 doesn’t support DX12. - Okay, I’m upgrading to AMD R9 280X 3GB

How frustrating. And windows store doesnt give a meaningful reason what prevent it to install.

Still not enough? Do I need to buy a new computer?
*my 11-inch Dell netbook can install this game, even It’s only using low-performance i3 & no discrete GPU.

Please post your dxdiag info file for full system info. …(how to)

  • Is your iGPU (Intel® HD Graphics 2000 of the i5-2400) already disabled ?
  • Do you have a supported gamepad plugged in, when you check for the download?

  • I have a motherboard that doesn’t support using Intel integrated graphics (P67 chipset)
  • Gamepad? Original Xbox 360 Wireless receiver + controller was connected at that time

I don’t change any system configuration. [i was restarted my pc around 5 times, login & logout microsoft account & doing wsreset yesterday]

magic appears today.
for unknown reason the problem goes away. I can click the install button Currently downloaded 12MB of 18.8GB…

Just finished download it. really really slow, taking 12 hours.

and now it’s stuck at ford gt screen for ~5 mins, and then closed without any warning / reasons. RAM utilization is 4.7GB total, paged 7.5GB
I have 2x4GB DDR3 RAM + 3GB pagefile in case it’s needed

oh yes, and CPU usage hovering around 65-90%. I’m installed this game to my SSD drive, i don’t think it takes more than 5 mins to start a game from a SSD drive

I restarted the game several times and now it’s opened correctly & I can play this game! Finally I can play forza motorsport again! and I love this new game!

*found a famous bug - the road goes black (only occurs sometimes in Yas Marina circuit)
