“Targeting a fix for a future update”

After the time limited BMW series is over with. Bravo.

You guys should gift everyone the car. You expect us to run ten 20 minute long races with this nonsense?

sounds of a third-party engine running independently of my car, the problem is observed in multiplayer. Observed on bmw Problem in the video

ASAP = Next update/month

Great for you!

it is also happenning on the porsche RSR, just experienced it in a GT2 Race on the Nordshleife. Glad it was spotted and that a fix is on the way.

“targeting a fix for a future update” Does that mean the next major Update mid february or would you guys push a hotfix out when a fix is found?
Not trying to say “fix this asap”, just generally interested how you guys treat an issue like this.
A lot of players play in cockpit view which is mostly unplayable with this issue…

It means sooner or later, don’t expect a fix anytime soon.

This really needs updating more urgently.

I can’t play multiplayer now as the sheer cacaphony of utter noise is just unbearable, and I seriously don’t want to endure the boredom of completing the career events against the still useless AI.

This is really bad, the sound in background is like a loop to make it more “full”, but it becomes extremly disturbing.

It’s absurd, you are alone on the race track and hear some kind of engine sound loop like thousands of other cars are nearby.

I tried different sound settings, but it does go away only if you switch off Player Engine sound option, but that is nonsence…

Also the sounds get stuck even after you finish the race and the loading screen appears, so the last loop finishes and then first it stops.

Please, FIX this. It destroys the joy of the game.

This is happening with the new M4 GT3 as well. In driver and cockpit views in the GT3 hopper, you can hear the engine from anyone who’s running the M4 GT3 louder than your own. I’m playing on PC.

The new BMW M4 GT3 has this sound issue in cockpit view. It is impossible to drive the car for a long time in cockpit view. Current playing on Xbox Series X. Forza please fix this issue.

This issue occurs on offline races against the AI too!

When driving the Peugeot 308 TCR in the driver POV, or cockpit view, I hear a constant random car engine that isn’t the sound of the Peugeot itself. When I release throttle I can still hear the other engine sound with different revving or downshifting etc. as you can imagine this is very disturbing and it would be great if it could be fixed.

Yeah I’ve been dealing with the same issue I thought it was the opponent vehicles in the background until I messed with the audio settings and found the bug and it’s rather annoying to deal with while driving in cockpit pov on the car

what I noticed is that, in multiplayer, some of the new cars feed other engine noises not related to the real environment. It looks like there is always someone (or even more) with the mic open.

first I noticed this on the Aston Martin GT2, then the BMW Hybrid V8, and now the BMW M4 GT3.

its disconcerting at least.

Sound issue seems to be fixed with the new update. At least the BMW M4 GT3 sounds normal playing on Xbox Series X.

We are closing out this issue. The developers have noted this issue as Fixed as of Update 17 on 02.10.25
