Thanks again for hosting these races. Sorry for the rage quit in the last race, but I’m such a bad driver that I seem to get punted a lot and I was tired of running hot laps by myself at the back of the pack… Sorry to everyone that I bumped into along the way - Koiftt seemed to get the worst of it today.
Nacho, I’m sorry about that last bump. I got back to the gas and pushed out into you and spun you out. I got overly aggressive when I should’ve been more patient.
Not a problem Bigfoot. I’m just not a good enough driver to save it in that situation. And I’m certainly not a good enough driver to catch up with everyone once I’ve been in a wreck. Didn’t feel like hoplapping by myself with a damaged car for the next 6.5 laps.
You’re absolutely right. And games are supposed to be fun. And I don’t find it fun to be repeatedly punted - particularly on the first lap of a seven lap race – so I stopped playing the game and had dinner with my family.
Hey Whats The Deal ? I Started Off Good And Then EVERYONE ran off And Left Me . I Used The Proper Setup But It Seems That Everyone Had Better Than Mine . Whats Up With That?
lol the truck takes some getting used to as the brakes are far better than you would think also the smoother you are the better we all are using the same tune aswell im not sure though how much that helps you but we all race for fun no cheater tunes no bs just practice with it you will get faster even I did today as I ran 2:23 then 2:22 then 2:21 at road America hope to see you next week nsoh and the assists that you choose to use can have a huge impact on your times particularly on road courses as they are longer and more technical I noticed that each assist you run can add 1 second per lap to your time and also the biggest one is trans if using auto the difference can be 2-2.5 seconds per lap even a manual no clutch can add 1-1.5 seconds a lap abs tcs and others add time aswell ovals you wont notice it near as much because you normally are in the upper gears and very close together im not sure why this is but it is
nice pics nacho 4 wide into turn 1 at road America hmmm that was the wackey start I was referring to but fun just the same those trucks accelerate and draft so well
I guess it was me then . I DO NEED TO PRACTICE MORE> I Use Manual Trans. Need to Practice On That To. Thanks For the Reply HOPE TO SEE ALL ON THE TRACK AGAIN.
and remember that running against ai and in lobbies are different animals I have had over 100 races in the buicks and the trucks to get the tunes where they are don’t get discouraged just be smooth run to your limit and have fun there are other guys who also run who are at a similar skill level to you I find that if I have someone to race with that challenges me I don’t care where I finish also run with your friends in them they can push you aswell
lots of fun sunday as we took the trucks to indy and the ring ahhh 192 corners 12.9 miles lots of fun went to Silverstone the first week may hit up japan next
Unfortunately, I was tied up at race time. Hated to miss the Sunday races.
What is wrong with you people?!! onelap tells me that a couple,( That’s right. More than one! )of you requested my whacky multi-colour truck as a prize this week. What are you smoking? LOL
It wasn’t really intended to be a prize. I was just taking a break from my duties with the club to goof off in the paint booth. But, I’m certainly willing to oblige. I’ll make some up with a few different numbers for those of you not embarrassed to be seen in it. I’ve only made perhaps five numbers in this style so far. So, I can’t take number requests really. Perhaps I’ll change the rim colours to further differentiate them as well.
I f stigs gonna show off that beautiful Gibson then I am gonna show off the TRUGreen truck he will be seeing back of next sunday! lol trug23 by driftgtrskyline, on Flickr
