Added prize trucks to the OP

With all these prize cars and trucks you’re making mt decision on what to pick if I win very hard. Lol

just gives you incentive to keep racing

And that why I’m trying to make all I can. Thanks guys for keeping forza 4 alive.

Posting a few pics of Dragon Arts’ ride for this weekend.

While taking DA’s truck out for this shoot, I got a tad abusive with it. Hey! It’s not my paint. Believe it or not, the truck actually comes down on all fours after this incredibly close call. Sorry DA.

Despite issues with Live kicking me out of a couple of races, I had a great time at the inaugural run of the Camping World series. As always, the boys are jovial and the atmosphere is loose and friendly. Seems even when I get into the front pack, either fate or my own stupdidty puts me at the back of the field again.

Here’s some early action. Onelap got bumped and ended up sliding up the track backwards. Dragon Arts and I had nowhere to go. Although it appeared I would take the worst of this, it was actually onelap who ended up on his roof facing the wrong direction.

Onelap, I don’t think the tires suppose to be facing upwards…lol

Here’s a few quick shots of the road course at Silverstone. One common theme throughout the race is tire smoke. Seems to be everywhere all the time.

This was so much fun. Cant wait for next week. The second picture is right before I dbicycle my truck.

As much as I wanted to be there for the first running of this one…I was out of town picking up my old car from my parents in Richmond. They finally decided to give it back to me after nearly 8 years…hopefully they’ll let me keep it this time instead of just having me fix it and then take it back like they usually do. But for now, I get to act like a kid again and drive my old Celica GT-S around some more

Had a blast Sunday in the Truck Series, and as always thanks to DLK for putting these on.

Here’s a few pics for the occasion.

Can’t wait for next SUNDAY, SUNDAY, SUNDAY!!!

Some shots from Sunday’s truck oval racing:

End of the 3 lap race for me - I forgive you Gears and Baz…

That’s me way in the back in 15th…

OneLap racing to the victory…

Me and Toyota Man went with the same paint apparently…

Nice pics, Nacho.

I’m not a painter. More of a paint by numbers - follow the contours kind of hack. But, I got to fooling around with a truck last night and came up with these. They aren’t up to the level many of you are. Nor, did I ever think they would be.

One particularly frustrating glitch in the paint editor is the change in colour from one vinyl layer to another. I took painstaking effort to create a custom colour and made damn sure every logo was identical. Yet, the difference is sickeningly obvious. Everything is “supposed” to be the shade of the DeWalt on the door panels. Clearly it isn’t. ARRRGH! If I had known this would be the result, I either never would have started it or just gone a whole other way.

A few of the 3 lap truck race from Silverstone:

Start of the race

Battle for 4th-16th:

Battle for 3rd (Bigfoot and CFunk)

Interested in joining the race . How do i go about this and also what are the rules and regs. here ?

the rules and restrictions are in the opening post the 2 truck tunes are in my sf ill have to make room on my friends list shoot me an fr and we will try and get you in

Got to goofin’ off in the paint booth this week. My designs aren’t replicas as I rarely know what I am going to do beforehand. I don’t think I’ve put a car together in about two years. Note I do not put Deadlights logos on this stuff. Wouldn’t want to tarnish the image.

Here’s what I came up with.

1- Fixed the colour issues with the original DeWalt paint. It isn’t perfect. But much closer to what I had in mind.

2 -Did this Optima paint on a Buick as well

  1. The stereo wasn’t on. Yet, I kept hearing Led Zeppelin, Hendrix and The Doors. Could have been a flashback that resulted in this paint. Started out as three stripes. Then added a couple of pinstripes and before I knew it…

oh my that’s quite colorful wont miss it may roll over due to being distracted…memories
