Calling all clean racers! | Classic DTM 6 week series | Starting soon, Sundays @ 8pm UK

Hi All

Are you sick of public lobbies where you constantly get hit off the track for any number of reasons? Come check out the online racing at etcc.ridedomain.com where our attitude is cosy racing for all. We’ve been running for many years and have a rich history.

We are currently running a championship on Tuesdays @ 9pm UK. Success ballasted minis, which has seen some very intense racing, check out his video! Rnd1@Silverstone.

However! We’re also gearing up for our latest main series, starting soon, Sunday nights @ 8pm.

Season 26 | Classic DTMs

Featuring the 1991 BMW M3, Mercedes-Benz 190 Evo and the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500., they are fixed builds to ensure they are fairly balanced and equally competitive. They are tunable.

Running for 6 weeks every Sunday night 8pm UK.

If you want some clean, close racing, in some seriously brilliant cars, whatever your skill level, check us out at the ETCC. (etcc.ridedomain.com)

We pride ourselves on our friendly forum atmosphere, and promote respectful, clean racing. We have some of the fastest Forza guys, to some of the, well, not so fast guys, racing and working together. They’ll always be someone for you to battle.

We also like our members to not take it too seriously, it should be fun, so don’t be scared if you’ve never raced in an organized race league before. You’ll love the structure, purpose and clean racing, also, racing with others your lap times will plummet! And promoting fun doesn’t mean we’re not super organized. German engineering went into the building of the ETCC after all…

So if you want some brilliant racing, the chance to meet like-minded clean racers, come and look at our website etcc.ridedomain.com, you’ll love what you see! Then follow the instructions to sign up! Don’t delay and don’t be shy!

To join, send an email to ETCCmailbox@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself:

• who you are (real name, XBL gamertag and Forza Motorsport forums name, if different)
• where you’re from, how old you are, what types of games you play
• why exactly you want to be a member anyway
• where you heard of the ETCC

Once you made your introduction, our friendly ModSquad™ will get back to you as soon as possible and register you on the forum.

So don’t delay, don’t think “I’ll do it later”. Get over to our forum and register now! The ETCC is very friendly, not too serious, a lot of clean fun. If you’re a veteran of organized racing, or have never joined a league but want a bit of structured competition away from public lobbies, there is no better place! Don’t be shy!

Our classic DTM Championship will be awesome!

Looking forward to meeting you!

I’m in. I’ve heard very good things about your group and would like to race with you. Been wanting a classic DTM series as well. Back when the cars were modified street cars not thinly disguised prototypes. If only the Audi V8Q were in the game.

It’ll be great to have you! It promises to be a great series with some close racing. Add me on Xbox and I’ll return the favour tonight.

I’ve created your account on our forum, and look forward to meeting you on the track!

Downloaded the test car builds and ran each of them at Sebring. My best lap times over all three cars were within 2 tenths of eachother. All had the same top speed on the long straight. Very good parity between these cars. Should be an excellent driver’s series.

Thank you we aim to please!

We spend a lot of time to try and get the cars as closely balanced as possible, usually with many more cars than this series features!

This Sunday 8PM is a test session to check the car build balance and see if any fine tuning is needed, check that none of the cars have an advantage and need adjusting. It’s a chance to test the cars in a race situation with multiple cars on track competing before the actual series starts. If we’re satisfied the builds are officially revealed for members to actual build (it has to be exactly the specified build!) and tune themselves.

So if you can make it this Sunday, sign “IN” HERE! It’ll also be a chance for us to assign you your division which will make it easier for you to join a team or even form your own!

We allow 4 men teams, they only last for the one series, so it isn’t a forever thing. But to keep the teams balanced and fair, and to encourage different people to work together and help less experienced drivers improve their skills we stipulate a mixture of skill levels, hence the divisions. Check out the rules HERE. They explain the team rules, as well as every thing else such as what happens on an actual race night. As you can see, they’ve only just gone up, are not finalised and need some pretty pictures added! Should be finished tonight!

In 4 test session

You need to sign into the ETCC forum to do it mate… It’s all in the email you got back!

Hi, is it still possible to sign up for the Classic DTM Series ?

I might be interested. I haven’t doen much online racing but this looks like fun to do.

Of course it’s okay! Come sign up to our forum, we’re a very friendly bunch and there is no better place to start your online, organized racing life! We’re well organized, been running for a loooong time, and more importantly, not super serious.

We try and make it as fun, comfortable and cosy as possible. If people want to join half way through a season, no problem. If you don’t fancy racing on a night, no problem!

The actual series won’t start for another week and a bit, so you have plenty of time to get used to the cars, meet the other members. Looking forwards to racing with you!

Good. I’ll sign up this evening to your forum.

Thank you for your information.

The start date has been confirmed!

Lights out on the first week is 28th September @ 8pm UK

The rules have been updated with the car builds.

The race calendar will be unveiled next Monday.

This Sunday (21st September) is the final pre-season test session. It is a chance to check the car builds now that they are live; people can build them and tune them themselves rather than just using the shared ones. It’s also a great chance to drive the cars in a race situation and pick a car that you like.

So come and sign up to the ETCC, and join us in the final test session! It will be around the tracks that will feature in the calendar, be great fun, an opportunity to meet the ETCC members and a final chance for us to place you in a division.

Being in a division has no bearing on the individual championship or what lobby you’ll be in. It is also not mandatory. If you don’t get assigned a division you’ll be classified a Rookie. It is just another standings board where you’ll be competing against drivers of a similar pace, and if you wish to team up with others it can have an impact as we stipulate a mixture of skill levels for a team. Teams are not a permanent thing. They are formed for just each series we run, unless you chose in future ones to continue the partnership!

So here are the various championships that are up for grabs in the Classic DTM:

Individual
Team
Division

We hope to see you on the race track!

Tonight’s the final test session, at 8pm UK!

Then it’s lights out on what promises to be an epic championship, next Sunday at 8pm UK…

So! Whilst it’s never to late to join in, you can sign up at any time, what better way to pick your car and meet the other competitors than in a friendly test session?

So don’t put it off till later then forget. If you’ve never joined in some organized racing and are slightly apprehensive, don’t be!

Come over to our forum and sign up! You’ll love what we do, have an absolute blast and make new clean racing friends!
