Calling clean racers of all skill levels! | Touring Cars | Starting soon, Sundays @ 8pm UK

Hi All!

Have you just got a shiny new Xbox from Mr Santa? Are you sick of public lobbies where you constantly get hit off the track for any number of reasons? Come check out the online racing at etcc.ridedomain.com where our attitude is cosy racing for all. We’ve been running for many years and have a rich history.

We’re revving up for our latest main series, starting soon, Sunday nights @ 8pm.

Season 28 | Touring Cars: TC1

Featuring an exciting line-up of amazing race specced, RWD cars (Some are converted) TC1 is our top-tier Touring Car category. The TC1s are in-line with current Touring Car championships. They are relatively light and powerful, exciting to drive and should promote some intense racing. To ensure all cars are equally competitive they are fixed build. All cars are fully tunable. Can’t tune? Well don’t worry; our members are very cosy and usually share there tunes for each week and are happy to tell you how!

Running for 6 weeks every Sunday night 8pm UK.

There is a test session next Sunday (4th January!) where everyone can drive the cars for the first time so this is the perfect time to sign up to our cosy racing community.

If you want some clean, close racing, in some seriously brilliant cars, whatever your skill level, check us out at the ETCC. (etcc.ridedomain.com)

We pride ourselves on our friendly forum atmosphere, and promote respectful, clean racing. We have some of the fastest Forza guys, to some of the, well, not so fast guys, racing and working together. They’ll always be someone for you to battle.

We also like our members to not take it too seriously, it should be fun, so don’t be scared if you’ve never raced in an organized race league before. You’ll love the structure, purpose and clean racing, also, racing with others your lap times will plummet! And promoting fun doesn’t mean we’re not super organized. German engineering went into the building of the ETCC after all…

So if you want some brilliant racing, the chance to meet like-minded clean racers, come and look at our website etcc.ridedomain.com, you’ll love what you see! Then follow the instructions to sign up! Don’t delay and don’t be shy!

To join, send an email to ETCCmailbox@gmail.com and tell us a little bit about yourself:

• who you are (real name, XBL gamertag and Forza Motorsport forums name, if different)
• where you’re from, how old you are, what types of games you play
• why exactly you want to be a member anyway
• where you heard of the ETCC

Once you made your introduction, our friendly ModSquad™ will get back to you as soon as possible and register you on the forum.

So, like I might of already said, don’t delay, don’t think “I’ll do it later”. Get over to our forum and register now! The ETCC is very friendly, not too serious and a heck of a lot of clean fun. If you’re a veteran of organized racing, or have never joined a league but want a bit of structured competition away from public lobbies, there is no better place! What are you waiting for? Christmas? Well it’s over…

Our Touring Car Championship will be awesome!

Looking forward to meeting you and a Happy New Year!

Another car revealed!

The 2007 Honda Civic Type-R

so many times ive thought about your series as they all look very well run and organised but sadly i cannot run without abs, lol
i’ve tried but im so slow no matter what i do i feel if i joined a series id be too dangerous so stay away, if only you guys ran series with any assists id be there.

Have you set your controller deadzones? Makes it much easier. And you can lower brake pressure too. Come race with us! No ABS won’t take long to adjust too!

Have another confirmed car to tempt you even more…

The 2010 Renault Megane

An entrant from Audi!

The 2015 Audi S3 Sedan (DLC)

i have tried many times to run without ABS, i can run but it means i’m more of a ciccane than racer, lol

i may pop over but really dont wanna take out other drivers due to my suckyness, lol

It’ll be great to have you mate. No ABS is pretty quick to adjust to, I reckon you’ll be fine!

Another car revealed just now, I reckon it’d look pretty tasty with a Redbull Livery:

The 2012 Infiniti IPL G Coupe

@D4NINHO. ABS Off is so simple mate. All that it is about is finding the locking point on the brake trigger(how far you need to press it down before you lock up) then that’s your limit on the brake trigger, don’t ever press it further. Imagine your finger in a hook shape and use part of your finger where the knuckle nearest your nail rests on the brake trigger when applying pressure, never use the tip of your finger on the controller as it’s too difficult to control pressure.

High brake pressure in tuning shortens the amount you need to press down the trigger, so use a lowish pressure to start(this effect is the exact reason that tuners will say choose your own brake pressure).

Good practice is to leave ABS on and see if you can brake this way around the track without seeing the ABS light flash on your speedometer.

This looks like great fun by the way but I’m far too busy with my own FTAC league at the minute, otherwise I might have joined in.

Hope this has helped
Peace!

ToOSk3tChY speaks wisely! Good luck with your series mate!

…however.

We’ve decided to relax the rules on ABS slightly, which is the first time in our long history.

D4NINHO triggered it by his comments, but other existing members who’ve just upgraded to Xbox One have also struggled to adjust to FM5s braking. We also pride ourselves on our cosy ethos and atmosphere, we don’t want to scare people off before they’ve even checked us out.

So for this championship and if it works well going forward, ABS will be allowed for our “Rookie” and “Pro-Am” Division drivers.

If it is your first season in the ETCC, you are classified as a “Rookie”. When you’ve raced with us we then assign you a Division; “Legend”, “Pro” and “Pro-Am”.

Being in a division has no bearing on the individual championship or what lobby you’ll be in. It is just another standings board where you’ll be competing against drivers of a similar pace, and if you wish to team up with others it can have an impact as we stipulate a mixture of skill levels for a team. Teams are not a permanent thing. They are formed for just each series we run, unless you chose in future ones to continue the partnership!

So the various championships that are up for grabs in the S28 TC1 Championship are:

Individual
Team
Division

Happy new year everybody! Lets hope it’s a great one.

Here’s a nice present to celebrate:

The 2013 Mercedes A45 AMG

i have been putting in the time and i think ive nailed no ABS,lol now im bound to crash.lol

this series looks very good and looking forwards to it.

I haven’t played in a few months but im looking to get back into forza 5. I remember why i stopped (because multiplayer is a train wreck). but if this is clean and fun i would be willing to give it a try although i don’t normally have ABS off. so if its not too late to hop in on this let me know. my GT is BertAwesome.

i signed up for this series having always ran ABS ,TCS and STM and it only took me about 30 mins to get used to running without them, yes its scary at first but like everything it becomes the norm, i suggest you sign up and enjoy as every guy here ive come across so far is a good guy, you will enjoy it.

Hmm. I suppose I’ll keep an eye on this.
