Caddy Limosine - any reason???

Is there any reason for the Caddy Limo in the game? Seems pretty hokie as does the bowling race. just wondering if there is any reason to keep the car for future races

Thanks

There are no other events than the Bowling Showcase that use the limo.
It was first added to Forza with the October 2015 Logitech car pack for FM6, and was the source of Forza’s first viral video (Don Joewon Song’s Presidential Drift video that was mistaken for real Secret Service footage)

Totally agree with you, it’s a car that just doesn’t belong in a serious racing sim game as this one. Where the car really belongs is in FH3, where it’s yet to make its debut.

Do you even know what are you writing?

It’s fun to drive. The only unfortunate thing about it, is that it’s in the Red Headed Stepchild division.

It is a lot of fun to race with.

As an aside, Mechberg organized a race on the Nurburgring as part of the New Years Eve party. Those participating seemed to be having a great time with it. I know I enjoyed watching the event.

I am of the belief that not every car or every event needs to conform to someones preconceived notion of what motorsport means. While I wouldn’t necessarily want to do the bowling events as the primary activity, I do very much enjoy doing those events.

And here we go:

It’s entertaining to race with friends, that’s for sure. I mean, do we need a Crown Vic Police interceptor? Probably not, but it’s a game and I for one like the options

Thanks, just have to look at it from an “it’s just a game - have fun” perspective.

The Caddy Limo is an amazing machine for LeMans with no chicanes. The perfect power car for the now dead class structure. Aerodynamic so the power you could put in it could really be put to use on speed tracks. Seriously under rated for racing in my opinion. Though now that there aren’t class leaderboards to put it near the top of on chicaneless LeMans it has lost it’s real purpose.
