So i really want the Ferrari 812 ingame but I just dont have the talent to get all 300 stars for the Supercard, now i keep checking the auctions but I only ever saw it once and wasnt fast enough.
Anyway, I was looking on ebay for cheap DLC codes for the FH3 VIP pass and saw a listing for rare cars that you pay for on ebay and then can buy cheap ingame…now I am assuming this is from a modded account so I was wondering if I could get into trouble if I buy one?
I would keep an eye on the Forza Shop. We’re getting a free car every day this month and you never know what’s going to pop up next.

I would not chance it man. It’s seems like a chance to either get yourself scammed or banned.

Have you tried the auction house since they made the changes recently to simplify the search feature? It is much easier to do repeat searches. I bet you could get one if you make a concerted effort.

This is annoying as I was able to buy the 812 in FM7 for real money but I cant do that here…officially
If the pricing system was fixed, there would be a lot of them in the AH.

Some rare cars like 812 or Hoonigan-RS200 can only be sold for circa 200K despite there’s a huge demand for them.
No one can sell you a car on eBay, it’s not a dlc code. You would pay real money for someone to list you a car in the auction house which is likely to get sniped by someone else.
Buying such a car would be against the TOS.
No benefit over agreeing to buy the 812 for in game credits and you still need to buy it out in the auction.

Just have to get lucky if I want that car…I am annoyed that i didnt get it when the game first released, apparently it was in the Forza shop during the first month for like 200 points.
I think it may have been even the first or second week the game was out tbh because I remember at the time some people who didn’t have ultimate edition early access complaining that they didn’t have a good chance to get the 812.
it was early on but they would have plenty of opportunity to get, as much as every one else if they had played during early access
some people complain just for the sake of complaining, which I know you know by now

2nd week it was in the forzathon. It’s funny I was sniping them in the auction house for less then 1 million and selling for 1.3/1.7 thinking I was doing good and making money lol wish I would have kept them all. I’ve got 2 though so it’s ok.
Auction house is almost impossible to get them, with bots searching 24/7 and regular people button smashing you’ve got hundreds of people searching every millisecond.
Best bet is hopefully it’s a advant calendar car they give us 
sucks they haven’t added it back since the 2nd week when sooooo many people want it, ask for it and can’t do the star card.
