Was doing my thing trying to get back to elite in the RWD Ghost lobby. Hockenheim short.
I was surprised to come into turn 2 and find the car not turn in the magically spin to take a late apex.
Coming through the last turn, It was like full assist was on. Any attempt to come into a corner with “red arrows” on the braking line resulted in brakes being applied.
Try to get the power on out of the corner. It was like TCS bogdown, except I drive R with TCS and it was 1,000 timew slower.
At the end of the race everyone else reported the same thing. It was like driving that opening race in the GT.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon?
P.S. Add to that the no damage again this week, extra lag and lobbies hanging a bit more that usual, I wonder if something is going on at the server end? I’m aussie and I’m used to the lovely lag we get from here, but this is getting beyond a joke. twice this week I’ve lost connection to the lobby while leading!
R class hoppers just keep disconnecting race after race. Sometimes you get 3 laps in then it crashes, other times you get two corners in and crashes. I’m done with it for the night.
I have been having major connection problems over the last seven or so days. I know there is a open lobby because the numbers for players on the leaderboards are changing while I try to connect. I am in New Zealand so I agree with you Walynds there have to be server issues. The floating cars and assisted driving bugs seem to be happening a lot more often and you have to assume it’s server problems. I have done hard resets and double checked all the connection factors and a few months back server problems affected NZ Australia and South Africa. A lot of players complained then to.
I’ve had that bug happen before. For some reason the lobby forces all assists on for everyone. The only thing you can do right now is hope the server issues get resolved in the next game…
