(Bug?) Performance Index changing on it`s own

Hi!

After finishing the final race I repeatedly got into races where the AI felt way off, it felt like they were on fast forward, it never happened during the first career.

Now I looked into it and I think I found out why.
It seems the game changes the performance index of my car and of course adjusts the AI to meet it.

Example:
I have two (downloaded) tunings for my Xbow, both are S1 900.
But when I get into a race the game changes the PI to S2 901.
The car remains being tagged as S2 until I go back to the garage and reload the tuning.

The Xbow is the car where I finally noticed what`s going on, but I am pretty sure I had it happen on other cars too.

Video links:
Pre-Race screen, top left corner shows the actual PI, the selection shows the game changing it to S2.

My tunings, shows I don`t even have a S2 tuning

Dont know whats going on, but it`s not the game trying to adjust for an ongoing championship. I can select any other car from the same class, no matter the PI, and the game will adjust the race to the car, not the other way.

Sounds like the age old aspiration glitch where you may have had a different aspiration than a downloaded tune. This sometimes caused my PI to be off by 1 in FM5. To resolve, you can always make sure to buy every aspiration setup before using downloaded tunes.

Thanks
Not quite sure what you mean though … buy all the aspiration parts seperately, then apply the tune?
Weird stuff, but if it works I am happy

Yeah, buy the aspiration conversions before you download any tunes. It’s been a bug in Forza for a fair few versions now. Despite the claims of a complete rebuild for Forza 5. lol
