In update drop day, the fields were split 50/50 between V-Series.Rs and 963. On Quali pace the two cars can get closer lap taps but in my opinion that’s down to circuit knowledge and fuel level. Race pace however, the 963s blow the caddy’s away. In my last 10 races in the series, I have lapped any remaining Cadillacs on pace alone, not even pit strategy. Most recently a caddy finished 5th two laps to myself and P2. I took both cars into a private test drive session, and on baseline setups, same fuel load and Tyre compound. The Porsche is 8 seconds faster on average over a stint. In order to diversify a sparse Proto-H division something needs to be done.
