Okay lets get this started.
I had a number of options drafted up and will keep those on the backlog for future comps if this is a success.
BMW Legends Knock-out Competition
This competition will be a 3 round knock-out competition. A selection of 6 cars to chose from, with one tune being submitted for one of those cars to use through all rounds of the comps. Once your tune is submitted, it is locked in for all three rounds. Each round will be on a different circuit.
From round 1 the six winners will progress to the semi finals, as will the two fastest round 1 losers. The added complication is that the first choice of the fastest loser will go to a car model that has not already qualified for the semi finals and the other fastest loser will be the purely fastest loser from round 1. Semi final will be a pure versus knock-out and the final will be fastest car wins.

If you get this up and it doesn’t involve Le Sarthe or cars above 3,000lbs kerb weight I’d be up for it. I doubt you’ll have much trouble filliing a roster though.
Humbled by the quick responses and tickled by the comments
Details are up, hopefully it is a bit different from other comps and gives you all something to think abut. I have listed those interested already as entrants, but let me know if after seeing the details if you’d rather skip this one.
BTW given the topic theme, I liked this from Mercedes.
