I run into missed a checkpoint when it absolutely impossible to have missed it. (one that is set up at entry of a tunnel). Happens after continuing a skill streak. Anyone know why this happens randomly.
Does it backtrack over a previous checkpoint?
Or you’ve created the race going down one road then later on in the race it comes back up the same road?
If so its a bug caused by the cross point associated with both Checkpoint placements being in close proximity to each other even if the first one is no longer vaild as it’s been previously driven through.
Hmmm…checkpoints are way different going up than coming back. The first checkpoint on Elmsdon on the Sea is at the beginning of tunnel 1. The next one is at the start of the turn after the tunnels. It seems to happen only when i was able to continue to skill chain by doing a ultimate U-turn…hitting some foliage before the roundabout, go through the first tunnel and right after exiting tunnel 2 before the next checkpoint. It takes me back to the checkpoint at the entrance of tunnel 1.
I’d need to race it in order to help diagnose what’s occuring for you, unfortunately I’m not near the Xbox at present, but I’ll test it out when next on and let you know my findings.
I’ve seen it on my own and discovered the issue was caused most of the time by unintentionally placing a checkpoint next to each other even if on opposite sides of the highway or within the distance needed to place the next checkpoint (I think it’s 100 yards) again on the opposite side of the road.
So in my instance 1 checkpoint is at the start of tunnel 1 like yourself, and on coming back down the highway my checkpoint has been on the exit of tunnel 2.
To rectify I placed that checkpoint in the middle of tunnel 2 and then another just prior to hitting the roundabout on the way back down.
Either way its a bug in creator we could do with being sorted, along with having corner barriers and arrow markers for true race characters added.
I might have a the last checkpoint on the way back before the roundabout hidden at the exit of the 2nd tunnel (next to entrance of the 1st tunnel heading up). Either way it is a bug or quirk in the creator program. I’ll try your route also.
I did some ore experimentation and have 2 routes without the bug. One has a checkpoint at the last circle and one at the right side before a quick u-turn to the starting line. Both work well. Now how do I get rid of my garbage blueprints?
