I am interested to know if anyone would be interested in doing some sort of weekly blueprint design competition. Like this comment if you might be interested.
The idea would be we all vote on some sort of theme and then we have a week to submit one or more blueprints. Then the community votes on which one they prefer throughout the week by liking the submission.
I would ask in the blueprint thread but that place seems dead.

If the blueprinter wasn’t such a pain in the b</t I’d be interested. Maybe. Tell me what you’re thinking about, just a route concept? Or something more intense?
Wahoo 1.5 people lol. I’m thinking mainly track/stunt related opposed to design/photo related. So for example design the best CC track in Mexico or the best stunt track in HW etc or the best road circuit. But ultimately whatever the community vote on.

That sounds like a good mini game within the context of the blueprint systems limited scope. Without having to be a track master builder.
I guess I’d still be a .5 player since I don’t do HW.

Well….I would like to do this. We’ll see how seriously playground takes the needed fixes for event lab.
I did re-create long beach GP……although it was one of my first tries at getting car spacing correct (compared to prop placement) it’s still fun and took A LOT of time to do. Most walls snapped together fairly well.

I hope it works. A lot of props used on this one. Consider this my first entry! Haha

I’d be interested in a one shot entry. No way I’m committing to a weekly schedule.
Who knows if this will take off but let’s see what happens. We will run a format starting when the next season rolls around. At which point you have that week to submit your entry here. Sooner you submit sooner people may try it. Who ever has most likes here or in game by the time of next season wins.
So what’s the theme? Comment below with suggestions and whatever gets the most likes is the theme we will do. I’m down for whatever. Btw you don’t have to be good at blueprints to join. I’m definitely an amateur.
Rain-slicked tarmac? Is that too open/generic?
I’m currently working on a model of Bristol Motor Speedway.
Bristol turn one code

Building a banked turn is a female dog. I’ve got turns 1-2 and 3/4 of the back straight laid.
There’s no way I would do something this intense for a weekly competition though

I will give this one a try when I get a chance.
What about just rain-slicked lol? Are there clippable tarmac pieces?
I was just going to spruce up existing tarmac roads on a unique route. If we’re expected to make new track I’m out. I’ve tried that already. It took forever and results left a lot to be desired.
I did learn a lot and know how I’d tackle it differently, but that doesn’t change the fact that it killed my motivation.
Let’s go with the next suggest someone may or may not make and stick with it regardless of whether it’s good or bad lol
Ramping It Up - take an existing route and make it better with ramps.

Ok there we have it. Thanks @Ti_Hsien
Competition: 1
Name: Ramp It Up
Theme: Take an existing route and make it better with ramps
Rules: Can’t be existing blueprint. Must be new.
Post your blueprints below when they are ready and vote on those you like or feel deserve to win.
Competition ends in 1 week when the next season is over.
@Ti_Hsien will be sponsoring this first competition which will have a prize pool of 50 million dollars split across the top 3 entries. First place gets 30 million. Second place gets 15 million and third place gets 5 million. Good luck!
I am definitely not wealthy enough to sponsor anything.
How about a FWD, rear-engine car instead?

Great, thanks.
It’s quite a tight corner track but I felt it still captured some of the long beach feel. Not my best effort but certainly a long project.
