BIGTIME MUSCLE presents the Forza Motorsports 4 Monthly Livery Contest.
After a little discussion within the club we decided to try a little something this month for the livery contest…a little theme to get those ideas rolling and some fresh paints out of people’s paint booths.
*** This Month’s Theme “Who Do You Love?” ***** So, to define the theme…we’re looking for designs that feature a person real or fake that you like or a cause you support or simply a product that you like. A couple examples…I really like Scifi movies so I’m going to make a Scifi movie car, or I really support cancer research so I’m going to make a car based on that, or I really like the Samsung Galaxy S6 so I’m going to make a Samsung car. Things like that…be creative and inspired by the things around you that you like/love and enjoy. Rules of the Contest: Design must be in line with the theme as explained above. Please feel free to explain in a concise fashion why you chose that design…tell us why you like it. Please tell us in your post what category you want to be judged in race or fantasy. The design must belong to you and be your creation. Posting someone else’s work is not allowed! Each user is allowed only one livery contest post (which they can re-edit over and over again) to show off a maximum of three pictures in their post. If you wish to enter both categories, you may have one post for each category but still only 3 pictures per post per category. These three pictures can be of the same car (if you need multiple angles to get across the theme of a car) or of three different cars. The choice is yours. Cars with damage and inappropriate liveries will be disqualified. Also, altering your image with Photoshop or any image editor will also disqualify your entries from competition. As an added plus we will likely do several mini comps within this thread. The various BigTime Muscle club members will be putting these on and passing out their own additional prizes for those mini comps. Submission Deadline: As I am not a moderator, I can’t lock this thread after the submission deadline. So the date stamps on the posts will have to do. Any entrants posted after 11:59pm on May 31st will not be counted in this months contest. Submission Judging: All submissions will be coordinated into one large gallery and PM’d the judges so the designs can be blindly judged thus making things as impartial as possible. Fantasy Winners and Race Winners will receive the following from Big Time Muscle: 1st Place will receive 100 Million credits and 5 prize cars of your choice 2nd place will receive 75 Million credits and 4 prize cars of your choice 3rd place will receive 50 million credits and 3 prize cars of your choice Depending on the number of entrants, we may do more than 3 winners so if that happens, 4th place and beyond will receive 25 million credits and 2 prize cars of your choice. The club members will be handing out their prize cars after the contest and once the winners have been selected then the winners can post the cars they want and things will progress from there. I will be handing out the prize credits and they’ll be more info on that process later. Roughly half way through the month and no entrants! OK, first 2 entrants get a bonus 50 Million Credits each. Remember, these Comps are all about fun and participation and you certainly don’t need to be an expert in the Paint Booth to enter. Please don’t be shy, just have fun with this.
That’s a hard one… I guess it is difficult to come up with a proper livery of something that we really like. That could be quite challenging to design.
Anyway I give it a try based one of the first livery I did on FM4. This probably means that is something I like.
It is a Spidey based livery (very basic) because Spiderman is one of the comics character that I really like. Well in Europe (France) we were not very exposed to US comics a lot or at least we know the most popular ones (Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Xmen [Wolverine], Fantastic 4s).
Our first 50M Credit bonus! I’m going to hold off on awarding this right away seeing as we have no other entrants so far. I may just have D S H I Z N I T 007 tack on your bonus to your winnings. Thanks for entering and sharing your reasons for using Spiderman in your design.
Just the 75 millions from the last contest… I got the 100 millions of the one before.
So I will put soon a Yaris in the auction house at the price of 75 + 50 so 125 millions.
Here’s a cheesy entry for you! I agree with cdocqui - difficult theme. I would have ended up doing another comic character or something, but after my missus nagging me all the time about painting women I decided to try giving her a go (painting her face that is - get your minds out of the gutter lads!) Only thing is I can’t paint photo realistic faces, but made an attempt anyway. Put a Haribo logo on as she love them.

Car: Volkswagen Beetle
Description: I’m a big fan of Tanner Foust; who he is and what he does. While I’m working on his GRC Beetle at the moment, it’s a little time consuming… It’s not gonna be finished before this month is over, and I really liked the look of his Foust Edition Beetle. It’s a much simpler design so it would take less time to make, so I decided to make that for the short term. Here it is!
