Pontiac Firebird vs. Chevrolet Camaro Challenge on the Indianapolis GP Circuit
I drove the 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air:
This paint and tune are on my storefront – If you want to use either, or both, you’re welcome to, but you do not have to!
You may either the 2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air -or- the 2002 Chevrolet Camaro 35th Anniversary Edition SS, with any B class tune…
I Set the Pace @1 :39.001
…plenty of room for improvement, me thinks -and- good practice for voldemortt’s R3 McLaren Challenge ! ;^)

I’ll have to try this since I owned both of these 2002 models
I ran both stock HP - replays up
Camaro SS … 1.37.966 Lap 2
T/A WS-6 … 1.38.829 Lap 2
Camaro - 1:38.904
Firebird - 1:38.945
And just for giggles…All B build/tunes with close to stock HP as possible…
90 IROCZ - 1:39.696
87 Firebird - 1:39.994
69 Camaro - 1:38.613
and our overall winner - 'Pontiac Builds Excitement" - 69 Firebird - 1:38.543
The 69 builds/tunes are VERY close - we may have to visit these two cousins again ;]
Thanks DL ;]
Nice!
and – Above and Beyond, IROC!
Just a program note: There are no restrictions on the tunes, guys. (well, other than B class…)
Even though mine’s fairly plain-jane lookin’ ;^) – You can “hot-rod” 'm as much as you wish! Or not.
I’ll take part in this if it’s not too late
… not too late – get on the podium! ;^)
2002 Chevy -1:38.832 - lap 3
2002 Pontiac - 1:38.494 - lap 5 Using your tune
I have disappointed the fans with my driving. You don’t often hear booing in the grandstands.
(big surprise)
The best I can do with the T/A is around 1:49; had some laps that were a little faster, but not clean…
Last year I was putting up some Indy GP laps that were at least above average, but I seem to have lost my mojo.
As a driver, I make a pretty good painter.
