I found another problem in the game. Guess where it is? No, seriously, guess… developers, you guess… or go find it… I’m done.
I’m not turning in anymore “vote for this problem” tickets. No more support tickets. No more beta testing.
I quit. I’m not paid or compensated in any way to help the developers continue to beta test this game. I pay to play a game and that’s what I want. Get your [redacted] together and get this game fixed and running.
Beta testing has to end … or START! Imagine the devs openly empowering the players and actively engage the community to test features and balance the overall experience?
Maybe they should have called it Forza Motorsport: Rebirth
Same here, for almost a month now. I was tempted out of my Forza sabbatical to try an endurance race at Sebring. It didn’t go well.
Brake-checked at the second corner by the Artificial Idiot in front and received a one-second penalty trying to avoid said idiot. Pitted on lap 11 after lapping most of the field, and the game decided to give me 1 lap of fuel instead of the 11 laps I requested. No big deal, as I had a massive lead over second place.
I won by the proverbial country mile (Artificial Idiots on level 6) and then got kicked to the dashboard after clicking through the timing screen.
Yeah, nah…
The overall lack of quality in this game is astonishing.
The game is a shambles, and deserves every word of criticism written about it.
We already got the obligatory hotfix of the month in that “end of race” timer pointless thingy. Don’t hold your breath for anything else this update cycle.
FR? Game still has many bugs. Ruins gaming experience. New added things still buggy, PC version not stable and messy penalty system… I can tell for forever…
This is why I’ve suggested doing bug bounties in the past. Even just for in game currency. Yes it will certainly be abused by some but they could make the bounties be worth enough for people to report them but not so much that people are just reporting random garbage.
The game should honestly have a bug reporting feature from the main interface, sorted according to category like audio, graphics, gameplay, UI, etc. which players can send directly to the developers along with their personal comments if they so choose.
…which shows they knew there’d be lots of bugs in the game, and they expect paying customers to do the work of unpaid testers.
The game doesn’t even have dyno graphs, or simple stats, or a screen/interface for players to conveniently manage all of our saved tuning files, but they made sure to include in-game screens for bug-reporting - which wouldn’t be necessary if they’d do sufficient testing & quality control themselves… After all, they’re the ones collecting paychecks to work on the game.
Which, yeah! Sends you right back here, where no one from T10 ever responds to anything. And we vote stuff up and they don’t do anything with what gets voted up. So why do it anymore?
Take tracks! Interlagos has been the number one track for several months with Fujimi the number two track. Ok, I can see maybe why Interlagos isn’t happening. Maybe they can’t secure the rights. But there’s no excuse for Fujimi. It’s a forza fantasy track. It’s a spur off of Hakone. It’s the number two track. Build the stupid track and get it in the game. Do that, that is how you listen to your player community.
We just need to be “MoAr PaTiEnT…”
…after this studio has been working on this series for more than 18 years,
and worked on this installment for 5+ years,
and has been working on post-launch support for 8 months.
